A method of fixing a membrane to a surface is disclosed. The method includes affixing a metallic washer having a heat-activated adhesive layer on a surface; arranging a membrane on top of the surface and the heat-activated adhesive layer of the metallic washer; heating the metallic washer to activate the heat-activated adhesive layer such that the membrane is fixable to the metallic washer; positioning a magnetic clamping heat sink assembly on the membrane; magnetically clamping the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly to the metallic washer causing the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly to apply a force against the membrane when the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly sufficiently overlaps the metallic washer to form a secure bond; and cooling the metallic washer, the heat-activated adhesive layer, and the membrane by removing heat through the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly.

A wheeled conveyance straddles and squeezes a parapet or similar vertical wall from both the inside and outside vertical faces. Side wheels may be adjusted to be closer together or farther apart to accommodate the thickness of the wall being straddled. The conveyance traverses the parapet along the top edge, and at least one fastener driver suspended from the carriage faces one or both of the inside and outside vertical faces at some preferably adjustable distance below the top edge of the parapet. While the conveyance traverses the parapet, an actuator selectively and repeatedly actuates the fastener driver(s). Various sensors and controls are provided that permit the speed, fastener spacing, and travel distance to be adjusted. Position awareness and visual, auditory, and radio communications may optionally be employed.

Disclosed herein are roof brackets, devices, and apparatuses for standing seam metal roofs to provide a removable place to place a foot. In one aspect, an apparatus may include a bracket configured to releasably secure to a standing seam of a panel, the bracket having a housing having at least one side comprising a slot configured to allow at least a portion of a standing seam to travel therethrough; a plurality of cams contained within the housing, the plurality of cams rotatably connected to the housing at a first portion of the plurality of the cams; at least one elongated member connected to at least one of the plurality of cams; and at least one tension element connected to the housing and in operable communication with at least one of the plurality of cams. Also disclosed herein are methods for using the disclosed roof brackets and apparatuses.

Disclosed herein are roof brackets, devices, and apparatuses for standing seam metal roofs to provide a removable place to place a foot. In one aspect, an apparatus may include a bracket configured to releasably secure to a standing seam of a panel, the bracket having a housing having at least one side comprising a slot configured to allow at least a portion of a standing seam to travel therethrough; a plurality of cams contained within the housing, the plurality of cams rotatably connected to the housing at a first portion of the plurality of the cams; at least one elongated member connected to at least one of the plurality of cams; and at least one tension element connected to the housing and in operable communication with at least one of the plurality of cams. Also disclosed herein are methods for using the disclosed roof brackets and apparatuses.

A roofing tool assembly for rolling and transporting a roll of roofing paper includes a handle that has a first portion which slidably engages a second portion such that the handle has a telescopically adjustable length. A grip is coupled around the handle to enhance gripping the handle. A tube is coupled to the handle and the tube is curved to conform to the curvature of a roll of roofing paper. In this way the roll of roofing paper can be rolled without requiring the user to stand on the roll of roofing paper. A skid plate is coupled to the tube such that the skid plate can be dragged along a support surface for transporting the roll of roofing paper.

A roofing tool assembly for rolling and transporting a roll of roofing paper includes a handle that has a first portion which slidably engages a second portion such that the handle has a telescopically adjustable length. A grip is coupled around the handle to enhance gripping the handle. A tube is coupled to the handle and the tube is curved to conform to the curvature of a roll of roofing paper. In this way the roll of roofing paper can be rolled without requiring the user to stand on the roll of roofing paper. A skid plate is coupled to the tube such that the skid plate can be dragged along a support surface for transporting the roll of roofing paper.

A boom clamp attachment has a gib frame, a boom quick-connect, a shaft arm axle, a shaft arm torque assembly, and at least one gib clamp assembly. The gib clamp assembly has a clamp support member having a first gib clamp at a first end and second gib clamp at a second end. The gib clamp has a fixed finger and a moveable finger, the moveable finger controlled via hydraulics. The boom clamp may hoist, tilt, and position an assembled section of panels.

An apparatus for connecting roof sheathing, including: (a) a left side member, wherein the left side member includes a length, a top surface, and a bottom surface; (b) a first upright member, wherein the first upright member includes a length, an outer surface, and an inner surface, and wherein the first upright member emanates contiguously and substantially orthogonally from the left side member; (c) a second upright member, wherein the second upright member includes a length, an outer surface, and an inner surface, and wherein the second upright member emanates contiguously from and substantially parallel to the first upright member; and (d) a right side member, wherein the right side member includes a length, a top surface, and a bottom surface, and wherein the right side member emanates contiguously and substantially orthogonally from the second upright member.

An apparatus for connecting roof sheathing, including: (a) a left side member, wherein the left side member includes a length, a top surface, and a bottom surface; (b) a first upright member, wherein the first upright member includes a length, an outer surface, and an inner surface, and wherein the first upright member emanates contiguously and substantially orthogonally from the left side member; (c) a second upright member, wherein the second upright member includes a length, an outer surface, and an inner surface, and wherein the second upright member emanates contiguously from and substantially parallel to the first upright member; and (d) a right side member, wherein the right side member includes a length, a top surface, and a bottom surface, and wherein the right side member emanates contiguously and substantially orthogonally from the second upright member.

A system for assembling roofing at ground level has an adjustable-length center frame separating a first assembly side from a second assembly side; a first cantilevered gantry on the first assembly side and a second cantilevered gantry on a second side, each cantilevered gantry moveable along the length of the center frame; a plurality of outrigger beams coupled to opposing ends of the center beam, each outrigger beam having a catwalk thereon; a first joist railing and a second joist railing on each assembly side, each joist railing configured to receive an end of an open web joist; and a base frame comprising a plurality of wheels. Once the roofing section has been assembled, hoisting the assembled roofing section to the top of a structure.
