Retrofit/Repair Technique for Asphalt Shingle Roofs that Exhibit Premature Adhesive Tab Seal Failures
Devices, systems and methods for providing a retrofit and repair technique and device for asphalt shingle roof coverings or roofing systems that exhibit premature adhesive tab seal failures. A device can have a handle at one end and a blade tip end at the other end has the blade tip inserted under a shingle to be repaired. The device can dispense a row of dabs at a selected location under roof shingle(s). The dispenser can dispense a row of individual dabs by a volume container. Alternatively, the dispenser can have a roll with a plurality of rows of pre-made dabs of adhesive on removable type paper. Once the blade tip end of the tool device is inserted between upper and lower shingles, the dabs are dispensed by removing the release paper, and the device is pulled out with the release tape is wound up, advancing the adhesive cylinders. Next, the worker can press down on the upper shingle. Additional embodiments can include adhesive adapters having dispensing heads that attach to ends of caulking tubes on caulking guns, or to caulking gun cartridges, and the like.

DEVICES CONFIGURED TO OPERATE ON AN ANGLED SURFACE, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Devices configured to operate on an angled surface (e.g., a roof), and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, representative systems include an apparatus with a body assembly, an arm assembly coupled to the body assembly, and a material handling assembly coupled to the arm assembly. The body assembly can include a body frame, and a plurality of positioning assemblies coupleable to cables and configured to position and/or orient the body frame on the surface. The arm assembly includes a proximal end portion rotatably coupled to the body portion and a distal end portion opposite the proximal end portion. The material handling assembly is coupled to the distal end portion of the arm assembly and is configured to carry a surface material to be positioned on the angled surface.
Shingle patch for hail damage repair of asphalt shingles and an integral nail/disk structure for eliminating exposed roof nails
A shingle patch for repairing damaged asphalt shingles includes a base member, a notched portion on one end thereof, a roofing nail formed on its opposite end portion, or a flap portion which can be lifted so that a standard roofing nail can be nailed into the underlying damaged shingle, and colored granules embedded into the top surface of the base member. A sealant covers at least a portion of the notched portion and the bottom surface of the base member. The notched portion is structured for sliding under the shingle located immediately above the damaged shingle and the remainder of the shingle patch overlays the damaged shingle. An emulsion/adhesive injector system for repairing damaged shingles, an integral nail/disk structure which eliminates the need of having any exposed nails associated with a shingled roof, and special tools for lifting the bottom edge of a shingle are also disclosed.
Multi-bead applicator
A system for applying a two-part adhesive to a substrate includes a prime mover for providing an output torque, a first pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the first pump having an inlet and an outlet, a second pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the second pump having an inlet and an outlet, a first compound in communication with the inlet of the first pump, a second compound in communication with the inlet of the second pump, a first accumulator in communication with the outlet of the first pump, a second accumulator in communication with the outlet of the second pump, a first manifold in communication with the outlet of the first pump, and a second manifold in communication with the outlet of the second pump. A plurality of applicators is included.
Supply Roof Rack
Disclosed is a supply roof rack to eliminate the risk of injury due to manually loading steep roofs or any roofs as concerned. As its designed so that laborers will not have to get on any roofs to stack roofing materials. The supply roof rack will be pre-loaded from the supply warehouse or at the job site. A crane or knuckle boom operator would boom the supply roof rack pre-loaded onto the roof. This will bring more security to many roofing supply companies from the high risks of fatalities due to laborers slipping off the roofs and or falling through holes unseen on the roofs.

Coating applicator
An applicator and method of use is disclosed for applying coatings and paints to various surfaces. As shown, the sprayer may have an undercarriage frame that supports three-wheels. All three wheels may run parallel with the first wheels and second wheels attached to the sprayer frame via an undercarriage with the third wheel positioned behind and between both the first and second wheels on a separate arm or frame. The width of the sprayer booms may be adjusted. The undercarriage may be folded entirely or only a portion therein. The arm of the third wheel may be folded or telescope, as required by a particular application. A handle, which may be adjustable, may be positioned between the sprayer frame and the undercarriage. Use of the applicator according to the method discussed herein reduces operator fall exposure and increases application efficiency.
Roof coating sprayer and methods for roof coating
A roof coating sprayer including a cart assembly and a sprayer assembly. The cart assembly has a frame with a plurality of wheels. The frame has a sprayer support assembly with a lateral member, and vertical spray nozzle attachment members arranged along the lateral member. The attachment members each mount a spray nozzle and can be vertically and horizontally shifted relative to the lateral member. The roof coating sprayer can be pulled over the surface of a roof at a uniform rate, enabling a coating of a uniform thickness to be sprayed on the roof. Additionally, the cart assembly can be self-propelled, enabling a uniform rate of speed for the cart and thereby enabling uniform application of coating.
