A system for removing shingles on a roof is provided. One embodiment includes a navigational apparatus for traversing the roof and a roof shingle removal apparatus attached to the navigational apparatus for removing the shingles. The improved removal apparatus pries existing shingles from the roof, and then stores the shingles in a debris bin before emptying the shingles in a precise location.

A coating applicator that applies a coating or liquid to a variety of different substrates having different contoured surfaces is disclosed. A coating applicator of the present disclosure is able to reach, contact, and cover the entirety of a contoured substrate. In this manner, the coating applicator is able to transfer a coating to the entirety of the contoured substrate. Additionally, fluid application systems of the present disclosure include systems for advantageously providing a fluid to a fluid applicator.

A roof inspection and repair device is disclosed that can be wheeled along a roof to identify loose shingles and dispense the sealant necessary to secure them in place. The roof inspection and repair device has both a blowing system and a sealant dispensing system. The blowing system may include an air tube having an air tube inlet that can be connected to a blower and an air tube outlet. The sealant dispensing system may include one or more sealant storage containers connected to a sealant dispenser by one or more sealant tubes. The roof inspection and repair device may further include a shingle lift mechanism.

A container for use in a gravity-fed dispenser, particularly for construction adhesives, includes a top surface with an outlet port, a bottom surface with a venting port and side walls, said side walls including two opposed indentations that provide handle grasps for a user, allowing the user to hold the container in an upside down position while it is attached to a dispenser. A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. A device can have a handle at one end and a blade tip end at the other end has the blade tip inserted under a shingle to be repaired. The device can dispense a row of dabs at a selected location under roof shingle(s). The dispenser can dispense a row of individual dabs by a volume container. Alternatively, the dispenser can have a roll with a plurality of rows of pre-made dabs of adhesive on removable type paper. Once the blade tip end of the tool device is inserted between upper and lower shingles, the dabs are dispensed by removing the release paper, and the device is pulled out with the release tape is wound up, advancing the adhesive cylinders. Next, the worker can press down on the upper shingle. Additional embodiments can include adhesive adapters having dispensing heads that attach to ends of caulking tubes on caulking guns, or to caulking gun cartridges, and the like.
