Inclined and fixed blind system
11434691 · 2022-09-06 · ·

A system of blinds comprising louvers that are inclined in such a way as to maximize the direct solar illumination received during the winter months and to minimize same during the summer months is described. The inclinations are determined according to the terrestrial latitude of the building supporting these blinds, and the orientation of the surface of the building that is to be protected. The longitudinal slope of the louvers is determined such that the longitudinal direction of the louvers is substantially parallel to the straight line of intersection of the plane of the surface and the equatorial plane seen from the building. The transverse tilt of the louvers is determined such that these louvers face in a direction comprised between 12° and 24° below the direction of the equatorial plane.

Devices for Internal Daylighting with IR rejection
20220252234 · 2022-08-11 ·

A device for day lighting the interior of structure deploys reflective louvers that are spaced apart in stacks. The louvers include a coating or multilayer structure that is operative to reflect visible light but transmit IR light through the louver. The louvers also have a retro-reflective structure to return the IR light by reverse reflection in the opposite direction of the incident light, which is back toward the sun. The interior of the structure is more uniformly illuminated with visible light while the louvers and interior are not heated by IR light or radiation from the sun.

A SHADING SYSTEM FOR COVERING AN UNDERLYING SPACE

A shading system includes a housing extending along a longitudinal housing direction; a plurality of shading blades extending along a longitudinal blade direction; a coupling system comprising: a first rail; and a second rail. Each of the shading blades is rotatably coupled to the first rail and to the second rail. A coupling element is rotatably coupled to the housing and rotatably coupled to the second rail. An actuator to translate the first rail along the longitudinal housing direction. The coupling element rotates the shading blades by limiting a translation of the second rail. A rain gutter extends along the longitudinal housing direction below the plurality of shading blades.

Structure for mounting louver panel

The structure includes a panel and upper and lower mounting units. The panel includes plate members, a rectangular frame spacer, and a core member. Right and left frame parts of the spacer are configured as straight tubular side spacers. Each of the upper and lower mounting units includes: a fixing plate to be fixed onto the upper or lower frame part of a building; mounting members connected inside respective upper or lower end portions of the side spacers such that the mounting members are slidable in an upward/downward direction; and coupling members coupling the mounting members to the fixing plate. Each of the coupling members runs, in a rightward/leftward direction, through an associated one of the mounting members and the fixing plate to couple the associated mounting member rotatably with respect to the fixing plate.

Louver canopy

A louver canopy comprises a frame with a top disposed with parallel rafters; a plurality of louvers rotationally connected between the rafters and sequentially arranged along a length direction of the rafters, the louvers are disposed at intervals and parallel to each other, each of the louvers includes an elongated flashing; a baffle connected to a first long side of the flashing; an elongated first guide groove formed between the baffle and the flashing; When the louvers rotate to a closed state, an opening of the first guide groove faces upward, and a second long side of the flashing passes over a top of the baffle of an adjacent louver of the louvers and positions above the first guide groove of the adjacent louver.
