Kit of parts for modular staircase
A kit of parts for securing a plurality of fixtures to an elongate support member is described. The kit of parts comprises a plurality of attachment members. Each attachment member comprises an aperture for receiving the elongate support member and a fixing detail adapted to attach a fixture to the attachment member. The aperture is larger than a lateral dimension of the elongate support member to provide a gap between the attachment member and elongate support member when received in the aperture. The kit of parts also comprises a plurality of locking elements. Each locking element is adapted to be received in the aperture in the gap between the attachment member and the elongate support member to secure the attachment member to the elongate support member by friction. Further, each attachment member is adapted to engage an adjacent attachment member when secured to the elongate support member by at least one said locking element to form a hollow column secured around the elongate support member for supporting a plurality of fixtures.
Self-actuating flood guard
An upper level of a multi-level building is guarded from flooding by water present in one of the levels of the building where the upper level is reached from the lower level (or vice versa) by connecting stairs. A flight of stairs bridging the levels is buoyant and pivotally connected to the building at one end of the flight adjacent one of the levels such that on occasion of water rising originating in one of the levels, the flight rotates upward on the axis of the pivot to block water from entering the upper level.
VEHICLE REPAIR DOCK
Disclosed is a vehicle maintenance dock including: a work space provided to elongate in a first direction, and formed to be dug in a predetermined depth with respect to a ground surface, and is provided to have an opened upper surface; and a plurality of vehicle support modules provided to shield one side of the opened upper surface of the work space and guiding a maintenance target vehicle to enter in a second direction inclined to the first direction and provided so that a maintenance target area of the maintenance target vehicle is exposed to the work space and continuously arranged in the first direction and arranged to be parallel to each other.

Extended Quarters
In some implementations, a modular furniture cabinet includes a top flooring affixed to static furniture and supported by one or more structures. The top surface of a bottom flooring, backs of the static furniture pieces, and a bottom surface of the top flooring define a storage space, and the dynamic furniture pieces substantially reside in the storage space when the modular furniture cabinet is in a closed configuration.

Seat for a stair lift
A seat for a stair lift includes a horizontal seat, a vertical back rest, and two arm rests. Each arm rest is connected to the seat by a support bracket, and each arm rest is pivotable between folded-down and a folded-up positions. The arm rest is pivotably connected about a pivot axis to the support bracket and to a carrying beam having upper and lower sides. The upper side supports an arm of the sitting person. The arm rest is designed such that lower and upper tangents of the carrying beam extend at the same side of the pivot axis. The lower tangent is at a radial distance from the pivot axis, such that in the folded-up position the carrying beam extends from the vertical plane through the pivot axis in the vertical space behind the vertical plane towards and beyond the back side edge of the seat part.

PRECAST CONCRETE STAIRWAY CONSTRUCTION METHOD
Provided relates to a precast-concrete stairway room construction method for constructing a stairway room with one coupling operation by manufacturing the stairway room to have a structure formed by vertically dividing the stairway room into left and right sides, wherein the construction method comprises: a mold preparing step (S10); a rebar arranging step (S20); a concrete placing and curing step (S30); a divided structure manufacturing step (S40); a structure attaching step (S50); and a structure bonding step (S60).
HYDRAULIC ELEVATING PLATFORM HAVING NO GUIDE RAILS AND ELEVATING METHOD
A hydraulic elevating platform having no guide rails and an elevating method. A hydraulic power pack drives three parallel hydraulic cylinders to work synchronously, thereby implementing the rising and falling of an elevating platform; when the elevating platform reaches a predetermined floor, an upper electric pushrod pushes a pedal assembly out, and then the pedal assembly drives a pedal to rise by means of a pedal elevating system until the pedal is flush with the surface of a loading table of the elevating platform; outward-swinging doors between the elevating platform and a floor open to form pedal guardrails; then sliding doors open and a man can step onto a stair via the pedal assembly. An eccentric loading adjusting means eliminates eccentric loading to achieve balance about the center of gravity, thereby eliminating the eccentric loading of the platform. The elevating platform is simple in structure, safe, reliable, and easy to maintain. The elevating platform, placed within a spiral stair, is convenient for movement of crowds and cargo delivery at certain scenarios and is widely applicable. The elevating method is simple to implement and effectively solves the eccentric loading problem caused by reasons such as outstretching of a pedal of a hydraulic elevating platform and uneven distribution of people on the elevating platform, so that the hydraulic elevating platform is more stable and reliable during operation.
