Fabrication layout device and method
Techniques and devices are disclosed for fabrication layout device. The device includes a table with a work surface. The work surface being a continuous surface and configured to support a plurality of railing pieces for fabrication of a railing assembly. The device further includes a beam located above the work surface. The beam is operatively coupled to the table, such that the beam moves relative to the work surface in a first direction. Attached to the beam is an ink dispenser. The ink dispenser is configured to move along the beam in a second direction different from the first direction. The ink dispenser is further configured to dispense ink onto the work surface of the table in the form of a pattern of the railing assembly. Railing pieces are positioned on the pattern so that they can be assembled to one another.
SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING AND FIXING SHEET-SHAPED ELEMENTS FOR RAILINGS
A system for adjusting and fixing sheet-shaped elements for railings including containment means for a protective sheet-shaped element which are provided with a channel for housing the sheet-shaped element and adjusting means for adjusting the position of the sheet-shaped element, wherein the adjusting means include at least one resting and retaining element with substantially L-shaped cross-section provided with seats for the passage of two pins and with two planes for the sliding of adjusting elements, in such a way that the combination of the movements of the adjusting elements caused by the pins generates a rotation of the resting and retaining element which in turn causes a rotation of the sheet-shaped element.
Barricade
Barricade systems are provided. A barricade system includes a first handle recess, a first channel extending to the first handle recess, a first handle portion including a first handle and a first handle post, and a first leg portion including a first leg and a first leg post. The first handle extends perpendicularly from one end of the first handle post. The first leg extends perpendicularly from one end of the first leg post. The first handle post and the first leg post are rotatably connected to each other. The rotatably connected first handle post and first leg post are disposed within the first channel. The barricade system switches between a stowed state and a deployed state by rotating the first handle post 180 degree. The 180 degree rotation of the first handle post facilitates a 90 degree rotation of the first leg post.

EXTENDABLE RAIL SYSTEM FOR HELIPORTS
An extendable rail system for a flight of stairs to exit a heliport comprising a railing positioned along the flight of stairs, where the railing includes a handrail; a plurality of anchors attached to the railing, where the plurality of anchors support the handrail; a rail extension attached to a top portion of the railing, where the rail extension moves between a first position and a second position; a motor coupled to the rail extension, where the motor moves the rail extension between the first position and the second position; a first actuator positioned on the heliport, where the first actuator activates the motor; and a second actuator positioned at a base of the railing, where the second actuator activates the motor.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF BALUSTER INSTALLATION
A baluster support sleeve for securing a baluster to a stair includes a body including an outer surface and an alignment wing extending from the outer surface. The alignment wing is designed to secure the baluster support sleeve within an installation hole defined in a stair. A baluster recess is defined through the body and interior walls surround the baluster recess. A lower end of a baluster may be received within the baluster recess. The baluster may be secured within the baluster recess and raised into position within a banister to form a handrail for a stairway.
PASSAGE CONTROL DEVICE
A passage control device having a corridor (1) and at least one pedestrian barrier (3), which, by the use of at least one blocking element (5) which is arranged in the region of the corridor (1) and can be moved between a blocking position and a passage position, releases or blocks the corridor (1) for a passage. Lateral boundaries (2) are arranged right and left of the corridor (1). The lateral boundaries (2) have a module rail (6) that is close to the ground and is provided with receptacles for functional elements and/or functional modules of the access control device, more particularly with specifically adapted receptacles for functional elements and/or functional modules of the access control device, preferably in a predefined grid.
Rotatable structural bracket
A rotatable structural bracket includes a top plate for placement in a horizontal rest position on an end of a structural section that has an internal void. The rotatable structural bracket also includes a rotatable extension for placement into the internal void of the structural section. The rotatable extension can be configured as a wedge that is rotatable out from the internal void to angle the top plate at any acute angle relative to the horizontal rest position of the top plate. The top plate and the rotatable extension are of single-piece construction, and the rotatable extension rotates relative to the structural section and internal of the structural section. The rotatable extension also encompasses an opening of the internal void at any acute angle.
PANEL SECURING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A securing system for use with glass panels is provided. The securing system provides clamping and securing forces to a panel held within a base shoe system, e.g., of a frameless glass guard railing. The securing system includes a back plate with separately tapered portions, and a shim assembly including tapered shim members. Each tapered shim member overlays a separately tapered portion of the back plate and is laterally positionable thereupon. Downward forces applied to the shim members are translated into lateral forces causing the shim members to move laterally in relation to the back plate. These lateral translations cause the system's width to increase to secure the panel within the base shoe and/or decrease to release the panel from the base shoe. The system also includes tools to apply said downward forces.
Kit for mounting a wooden fixture such as a handrail or panel to a supporting structure without interrupting its attractive face thereby
A kit for mounting a wooden fixture comprising a body of wood, such as a handrail or a ceiling panel, on a supporting structure features a pair of brackets each for fastening to one of the wooden fixture and the supporting structure. Each bracket has a threaded surface which is threaded in an opposite rotational direction to the other bracket. That is, one bracket has right hand threading and the other bracket has left hand threading. The kit includes a coupling with a first surface portion which is threaded in the same direction as a first one of the brackets for mating therewith and a second surface portion threaded in the same direction as a second one of the brackets for mating therewith. The coupling is thus arranged for threadable mating with both brackets concurrently in a manner mounting the fixture but leaving a front face thereof uninterrupted.
