METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A REINFORCED CONCRETE DWELLING
A method is disclosed for the method of building a structure. The method includes laying a foundation; running tubing within a column form; pouring the concrete into the column form; and forming walls so as to define the structure. The walls are formed from concrete columns separated by foam. The concrete attaches to the insulation as the concrete sets. A roof is also included and formed from a plurality of sections. The roof is placed in communication with the walls.
TAPE APPLICATOR WITH ADJUSTABLE COMPOUND FLOW AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE COMPOUND FLOW OF SUCH AN APPLICATOR
The invention relates to a strip applicator (1) for joining two plaster boards. The applicator comprises a container (4) having an output slot (9) for the strip which has a determined height and is provided with height adjustment means comprising: —a height adjustment plate (16) arranged inside the container, —a securing plate slidably secured against the front wall (13) and comprising a sliding guide provided with an elongate opening, the securing plate comprising a sliding stop (111b) provided with a central hole (115) and cooperating with the sliding guide—a shaft (17) for coupling and clamping the plate, the shaft being engaged in an opening (16a) of the plate, in the elongate opening, and in the central hole—means (116, 117) for tensioning/de-tensioning the coupling and clamping shaft.
TAPE APPLICATOR WITH TAPE PROTECTION AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING SUCH AN APPLICATOR
An applicator of jointing tape for joining two sheets of plasterboard includes a mud chamber through which the tape is paid out. The chamber has a tape inlet slot formed between a free end of a rear wall of the chamber and a first free end of a lower wall of the chamber. The free end of the rear wall of the chamber and the first free end of the lower wall of the chamber comprise a cylinder with a cross section greater than a thickness of the wall to which each cylinder is attached, each cylinder being covered by a removable protective sleeve with an interior cross section that complements the cylinder that the sleeve covers, each protective sleeve having a longitudinal opening delimited by two immobilization edges for immobilization against the wall bearing the cylinder that the sleeve covers.
Gluing Device, System for Gluing Brick Slips and Method Therefore
The invention relates to a gluing device, for gluing brick slips, a system for gluing brick slips and a method for gluing brick slips, for example for providing brickwork veneer. Gluing device comprising:—a support;—a glue container that extends from a first end to a second end, wherein the glue container is operatively connected to the support;—a discharge nozzle that is operatively connected to the first end of the glue container and that is provided with a discharge opening; and—a plunger that, during use of the device, is positioned in the glue container and that is provided with a drive side facing the first end of the glue container and a press side facing the second end of the glue container, and wherein the plunger is operatively connected to the support, wherein the plunger and the container are connected to the support and wherein one of the plunger and the container is moveably connected to the support with respect to the other of the plunger and the container, such that the plunger and the container are moveable relative to each other.
System for placing objects on a surface and method thereof
A system for placing objects on a surface. The system may include a base, a robotic arm coupled, at an end thereof, to the base, an end effector coupled to the other end of the robotic arm. The end effector may be configured for releaseably coupling to an object to be placed on the surface. The system may further include one or more sensor units on a sensor frame. The one or more sensor units may be configured for sensing a two-dimensional profile data including at least two two-dimensional profiles together comprising at least three boundary portions of the object to be placed and at least three boundary portions of objects on the surface. At least two of the three boundary portions of the object to be placed may be from substantially non-parallel sides. At least two of the three boundary portions of the objects on the surface may be from substantially non-parallel sides. The system may further include a processor configured to determine at least three degrees of freedom of the object to be placed with respect to the sensor frame and six degrees of freedom of the sensor frame with respect to the objects on the surface in a three-dimensional space for determining a current pose of the object to be placed with respect to the objects on the surface based on the two-dimensional profile data. Further, the system may be configured to place the object based on differences between the current pose and a desired pose of the object to be placed determined from a model of objects on the surface in the three-dimensional space.
Finishing accessory with backing strip
A framing accessory includes a bead and a backing strip. The bead may comprise a first leg, a second leg, and a lip. The second leg may comprise a plurality of openings. The strip may be attached to the upper surface of the first leg. In some embodiments, the strip may comprise a single layer of material, while in other embodiments, the strip may comprise two or more layers of material. The strip may comprise material having fire resistant, intumescent, and/or sound insulating properties. The finishing accessory may be configured to be installed in a gap at a head of wall joint by positioning the first leg and strip along the top edge of a wallboard panel and the second leg extending vertically downward along the outer surface of the wallboard panel.
Drywall Mud Pan Cover Device
The present invention relates to a drywall mud pan cover that prevents drywall mud from drying out in a drywall mud pan. The device is comprised of a drywall pan and a cover for the pan with at least one grip area. In one embodiment, the cover can be placed over and secured to the flanged top edges of the drywall pan via L-shaped sidewalls. This retains the cover over the pan such that air cannot enter the pan and dry out drywall mud. The cover may be comprised of at least one grip area and/or at least one handle to aid in maneuvering the cover about over the opening of the pan.
