10407921 · 2019-09-10 · ·

A floor panel for forming a floor covering comprises a substrate consisting of at least two substrate layers differing in density and, on at least one pair of opposite edges, is provided with coupling parts of the so-called push-lock type. Vertically active locking surfaces, where they cooperate in the coupled condition of two of such floor panels, define a tangent line which is horizontal or does not deviate more than 50 degrees from the horizontal. The locking surfaces are situated closer to the upper side of the first substrate layer than to the lower side of the first substrate layer.

A finishing profile for a floor covering, including at least a flange-shaped portion, which extends on opposite sides of an attachment portion situated on the underside, wherein the flange-shaped portion is formed in one piece from synthetics and is provided for being subdivided at the location of the attachment portion. The invention further also relates to a cutting tool for cutting up such finishing profile for a floor covering, wherein this cutting tool includes a body and includes at least one knife, wherein the position of the knife is adjustable.

Floor Panel and Floor Covering Consisting of A Plurality of Such Floor Panels

The invention relates to a floor panel, in particular a laminated floor panel. The invention also relates to a floor covering consisting of a plurality of mutually coupled floor panels according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for mutually coupling two floor panels, in particular laminated floor panels, according to the invention.

In a male and female coupling means of a floor panel the male coupling means is formed of at least one proximal groove and of a flexible distal tongue. The female coupling means is formed of at least one proximal groove and of a flexible distal tongue. The flexible distal tongue of the male coupling means has a proximal wall inclined at an angle with respect to a vertical plane towards the bottom of the panel and towards the outside of the panel, while the flexible distal tongue of the female coupling means has a proximal wall inclined at an angle with respect to a vertical plane towards the top of the panel and towards the outside of the panel. The flexible distal tongue of at least one of the male or female coupling means has a distal wall comprising, at least, a protrusion or a notch that is able to engage with a notch or a protrusion formed in or on a proximal wall of at least one proximal groove of corresponding female or male coupling means of an adjacent panel so as to form an end stop, avoiding vertical movement of the panel with respect to the adjacent panel. The proximal wall of the proximal groove of the male coupling means comprises an upper part, and a lower part, the upper part and the lower part extend parallel on either side of the notch or of the protrusion.

Panel

The invention relates to a panel with complementary locking means provided in pairs on opposite panel edges. One of the locking means is hook profiles with a receiving hook and a locking hook. The free step end of the locking hook is designed narrower than the width of the receiving opening of the receiving hook. The locking contour of the locking hook protrudes at least partially past the plane of the joint surface of the receiving hook so that the free step end fits into the receiving opening far enough at first that a part of the horizontal locking surface of the locking hook makes contact with the horizontal locking surface of the receiving hook during a joining motion without elastic deformation of the hook profiles, and that the receiving hook bends so that the width of the receiving opening can be expanded so that the locking step can be inserted entirely into the receiving recess and the locking contour of the locking hook is further inserted into a form-fit contour of the receiving hook.

A floor panel includes a core provided with an upper and lower surface, and a first and second core flank at a first and second side of the core, respectively. The floor panel includes a first coupling part and a second coupling part provided at the first side and the second side of the core, respectively. Each of the coupling parts includes an inner side flank, an outer side flank, and an upper portion flank connecting the inner side flank to the outer side flank. A portion of the first core flank and an upper portion of the outer side flank of the second coupling part are inclined such that when the floor panel is coupled to an adjacently arranged further floor panel these upper portions lie against each other for the purpose of providing a locking in a vertical direction.
