A plurality of hidden clips can be included with a strip of clips and separated by a frangible section or tab located between adjacent clips. An aperture defined in each hidden clip can include an offset cylindrical section that causes a fastener to pivot from a vertical alignment when the fastener is driven into a joist. Each strip can be provided with a hand grip portion removably attached to a proximal-most hidden clip in the strip of clips.

A panel comprising a heat providing layer is presented. The panel includes panel coupling means arranged for coupling the panel to adjacent panels. End panel grooves, at least partly extending between first and second opposite longitudinal sides of the panel, are arranged in the end panel coupling means of the panel. In order to provide heat, electrical end connectors are arranged in the end panel grooves of the panel. The electrical end connectors are arranged for being electrically connected to the heat providing layer of the panel, at least partly including an electrically conductive material, and at least partly protruding from the one or more end panel grooves, thereby providing an electrical connection between the heat providing layer of the panel and a corresponding heat providing layer of at least one adjacent panel coupled to the panel.

One or more hidden clips can be efficiently fastened and mounted to decking planks, e.g., with a tool or manually. A plurality of hidden clips can be included with a strip of clips and separated by a frangible section or tab located between adjacent clips. Each hidden clip can include a leading edge and a trailing edge opposite the leading edge. The leading edge can be beveled or tapered across an entirety thereof. At least one connecting tab spans between a respective leading edge and trailing edge of adjacent decking clips in the clip strip. Floor panels are provided with a mechanical locking system having small local protrusions which reduce displacement along the joint when the panels are laying flat on the sub floor and locked vertically and horizontally. A method to install a floor comprising a plurality of rectangular floor panels laying in parallel rows on a sub floor with long and short edges which are connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent long edges and one pair of adjacent short edges.

Disclosed herein is a clip for positioning and securing adjacent grooved planks to a joist. The clip includes a body and a pair of legs. The body extends longitudinally from a front end to a rear end and laterally between opposite lateral edges and defining a hole. Each leg of the pair of legs extends downward from the body at a longitudinal position between the front end and rear end. Each of the front end and the rear end includes a notch in the edge between the opposite lateral edges.
