Assemblable platform made of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP)
There is provided an assembleable platform made of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP), including (1) a plurality of plates each having a first T-shaped slot on the top surface and a second T-shaped slot on the bottom surface along a first axis, and a third T-shaped slot on the right-side surface and a fourth T-shaped slot on the left-side surface both along the first axis and oriented perpendicular to the first axis, where the each plate is rectangular; (2) a plurality of T-shaped connectors disposed in the first T-shaped slot and the second T-shaped slot to connect the plurality of the plates; and (3) a plurality of I-beam connectors disposed in the third T-shaped slot and the fourth T-shaped slot to connect the plurality of plates to form the assembleable platform, wherein each of the plurality of plates, T-shaped connectors and I-beam connectors is made of FRP.
Thermoplastic planks and methods for making the same
A thermoplastic laminate plank is described wherein the thermoplastic laminate plank includes a core, a print layer, and optionally an overlay. The core includes at least one thermoplastic material and has a top surface and bottom surface wherein a print layer is affixed to the top surface of the core and an overlay layer is affixed to the top surface of the print layer. An underlay layer can be located and affixed between the bottom surface of the print layer and the top surface of the core. In addition, a method of making the thermoplastic laminate plank is further described which involves extruding at least one thermoplastic material into the shape of the core and affixing a laminate on the core, wherein the laminate comprises an overlay affixed to the top surface of the print layer and optionally an underlay layer affixed to the bottom surface of the print layer.
Mechanical locking system for floor panels
Floor panels are provided with a mechanical locking system having small local protrusions which reduce displacement along the joint when the panels are laying flat on the sub floor and locked vertically and horizontally. A method to install a floor comprising a plurality of rectangular floor panels laying in parallel rows on a sub floor with long and short edges which are connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent long edges and one pair of adjacent short edges.
Form Panel System
This application relates to the field of reveal architectural panel assemblies. The apparatus replaces prior art assembly methods and fasteners with a particular connecting structure to facilitate assembly. The frame extrusions are modified to facilitate assembly and increase ease in adaptation and installation.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONSTRUCTION MATS
This disclosure relates to a modular construction mat system wherein each individual mat is made of two layers to support heavy loads while providing stability and ground protection. In use the finished mats can then be adjoined to adjacent mats to complete a large mat system for roadways, walkways, and other support structures using a unique floating nut system to create a single firmly joined modular mat system.
Method of separating a floorboard material
A method of separating a floorboard material wherein the material has wood fibers oriented essentially in one direction.
Form panel system
This application relates to the field of reveal architectural panel assemblies. The apparatus replaces prior art assembly methods and fasteners with a particular mounting structure to facilitate assembly. The frame extrusions are modified to facilitate assembly with adhesive sealants and removal of mechanical fasteners and increase ease in adaptation and installation.
DECKING CLIP
A decking clip to allow a plurality of decking members to be attached relative to a support assembly, the decking clip including an elongate plastic body strip having a body length, the body provided with a number of openings to receive fasteners there through to attach the body relative to the support assembly, a number of upstands spaced over the body length and extending substantially perpendicularly from the body strip, substantially transversely to the body length, each upstand having at least two opposed decking board engagement arms, a first decking board engagement arm extending from a first lateral side of the upstand at an acute angle and a second decking board engagement arm extending from a second lateral side of the upstand at an acute angle, at least two centering members, at least one centering member extending from the first lateral side of the upstand between the first decking board engagement arm and the body strip and at least one centering member extending from the second lateral side of the upstand between the second decking board engagement arm and the body strip, each upstand and/or engagement arm being resiliently deformable to allow portion of a decking board to pass and to retain the decking board relative to the support assembly in a spaced apart, non-overlapping configuration.
Flooring material
A surface element designed to be assembled together with similar surface elements to form a unit of a plurality of joined surface elements; said surface elements comprising a core, a decorative upper surface and edges for joining, including a first and a second edges allowing joining by rotational movement, and a third and a fourth edge allowing joining by vertical movement, wherein two adjacent edges of the surface element at the same time, and concurrently with said rotational movement, is joined with a surface element adjacent to the first edge and a surface element adjacent to the third or fourth edge.
HIDDEN CLIP AND FASTENING SYSTEM FOR DECKING
One or more hidden clips can be efficiently fastened and mounted to decking planks, e.g., with a tool or manually. A plurality of hidden clips can be included with a strip of clips and separated by a frangible section or tab located between adjacent clips. Each hidden clip can include one or more compression tabs having a sloped or angled cross member transversely extending between first and second extending elements to improve decking fixation.
