Floor panel with sealing means
Floor panels and floor elements therefore are made of sheet-shaped cores which are formed with sealing means for preventing or counteracting changes in the properties of the floor panels caused by moisture. A floor panel, including a body having a core, in which floor panel at least two opposite parallel joint edge portions are provided with connectors for mechanical joining of the floor panel in the horizontal direction with similar floor panels, the connectors having active locking surfaces for cooperation with corresponding active locking surfaces of adjacent floor panels after the floor panel has been joined therewith, the core having an upper surface layer, wherein a material seal of a resilient surface layer covers the upper surface layer of the core.
FILM APPLICATION METHOD AND CONSTRUCTION PANEL
A method of applying a protective film to a construction panel comprising: (a) selectively applying an adhesive composition to a peripheral region of a surface of the construction panel; and/or selectively applying an adhesive composition to a peripheral region of a surface of the protective film; and (b) applying a protective film to the surface of the construction panel to bond the protective film to the construction panel. A construction panel comprising a protective film layer on a surface of the panel and a peripheral adhesive composition layer located between said surface of the panel and the protective film layer, wherein the peripheral adhesive composition layer extends from an edge of the panel and across from about 0.1% to about 25% of the width of the surface.
Floor And Wall Panel System
A decorative wall system is provided that includes a number of panels that can be secured to an underlying wall and to one another in an overlapping configuration to provide a multi-layer, three-dimensional appearance to the wall. In one embodiment of the wall system, the system includes individual panels that include a decorative front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface includes undercuts along each side of the rear surface that can be positioned over the side edges of the front surface of an adjacent wall panel. The panels may each include an adhesive layer including compressible strings therein that assist the adhesive in holding the panel on a surface by forming a vacuum between the panel and the surface to which the panel is attached.
Flooring System
This invention relates to a method for adhering floor tiles together and the flooring system thereby created. The method utilizes individual adhesive units as fasteners for attachment of each floor tile to the next contiguous floor tile. The adhesive units are a multi-layered composite comprised of at least one adhesive layer and at least one layer of polymer film or textile substrate. When a series of floor tiles are attached to one another in this manner, a floating floorcovering article is achieved.
Subfloor joint
A set of subfloor panels including a joint configured to be glued is provided. The joint includes a tongue at a first edge of a first panel and a tongue groove at a second edge of a second panel. The tongue and the tongue groove are configured for positioning of the first panel relative to the second panel in a vertical direction, wherein a lower lip of the tongue groove extends beyond an upper lip of the tongue groove. An element protrudes from the lower lip and an underside of the first edge includes an element groove. The element and the element groove are configured for positioning of the first panel relative to the second panel in a horizontal direction. The lower lip includes a first impact surface, and the first edge includes a second impact surface. The first impact surface is configured to cooperate with the second impact surface.
Glue-Down Decorative Floor Covering System
The invention relates to a glue-down decorative floor covering system. The invention also relates to a glue-down floor covering realized by a plurality of tiles of the glue-down floor covering system according to the invention. The invention further relates to a tile for use in a glue-down floor covering system according to the invention.
OSB board and use of the same
The present invention relates to an OSB board with at least two board edges lying opposite one another, in particular two opposite longitudinal edges, where the upper side of the OSB board is provided with at least one layer of a cardboard paper. The board edges respectively on the upper side of the board have a rounding with a radius of between 3 and 10 mm. Each of the two opposite board edges has an offset in form of a simple rebate, the rebate in the one board edge complementing the rebate in the opposite board edge. At least one glue tube in each case is provided in at least one of the opposite offsets of the rebates, in particular in at least one groove.
Building element in plate shape, in particular floor covering panel, as well as floor covering formed by using said building elements, and method for their arrangement
The invention relates to a building element in plate shape, in particular a floor covering panel, which, apart from a mineral carrier plate or a carrier plate of WPC, comprises an upper side wear layer as well as preferably a lower side levelling layer, as well as to a floor covering formed by using such building elements, and to a method for the arrangement thereof, wherein the side faces thereof comprise a non-locking profile for forming special joints for receiving a material for forming a connection element.
