PANELIZED LATH AND DRAINAGE PLANE SYSTEM FOR BUILDING EXTERIORS
A panelized lath and drainage plane panel and system is disclosed. A panel comprises a patterned polymer board providing a continuous drainage plane and a metallic lath affixed to the patterned polymer board, such that a first pair of adjacent edges include an exposed surface of the patterned polymer board. The panel may also include a second pair of adjacent edges, opposite the first pair of adjacent edges include an overhang of metallic lath. The system provides an open-air space between the exterior of the structure and the polymer board to allow the egress of liquid water and water vapor. A wall system using such panels is also disclosed. Typically, a manmade or natural stone veneer or a stucco is applied over the system.
Waterproof panel for shower tray
A waterproof panel for shower tray, adapted to be placed over a foundation, to be interposed between the latter and a floor covering layer includes at least one plate-like element and a waterproof covering which is applied on top of the at least one plate-like element, and has, on the lower face for adhesion to the foundation, and low-relief portions adapted to accommodate adhesive for the adhesion of the panel to the foundation.
Modular decking assembly
A modular decking assembly for defining a floor to stand upon includes a plurality of panels that each has a tongue and a groove. The tongue on each of the panels releasably engages the groove on an adjacent one of the panels. In this way the panels can be coupled together to define a support surface for standing or sitting. Each of the panels is positionable on the ground and each of the panels is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to inhibit people's feet from getting wet during standing. A plurality of pins is provided and each of the pins is extendable through a respective panel and engages an adjacent panel for removably coupling the panels together.
FLOORING MATERIAL
The invention provides a ventilating synthetic floor-covering comprising a ventilating support layer and one or more synthetic layers wherein the ventilating support layer comprises a plurality of studs between which narrow ventilation channels are formed even when the floor-covering is compressed in normal use wherein the narrow ventilation channels have a width which is less than a principal dimension of the studs; a ventilating support layer; a production line for use in the preparation of a ventilating support layer wherein the ventilating support layer comprises a support layer and a plurality of studs wherein the production line comprises an embossing roller for embossing the plurality of studs on the support layer or a printing roller for printing the plurality of studs on the support layer wherein narrow ventilation channels are formed between the plurality of studs and wherein the narrow ventilation channels have a width which is less than a principal dimension of the studs; and a method of preparing a synthetic floor-covering according to the invention which method comprises a step of providing a synthetic floor-covering comprising an upper layer and a support layer; and one of the following steps: (a) embossing the support layer to form a plurality of studs between which one or more narrow ventilation channels are formed; (b) embossing the upper layer before embossing the support layer to form a plurality of studs between which one or more narrow ventilation channels are formed; (c) embossing the support layer to form a plurality of studs between which one or more narrow ventilation channels are formed before embossing the upper layer; (d) embossing the support layer and the upper layer at the same time wherein the support layer is embossed to form a plurality of studs between which one or more narrow ventilation channels are formed; or (e) applying one or more studs by printing to form a plurality of studs between which one or more narrow ventilation channels are formed;
wherein the narrow ventilation channels have a width which is less than a principal dimension of the studs.
MINERAL-BASED PANEL COMPRISING GROOVES AND A METHOD FOR FORMING GROOVES
There is disclosed a mineral-based floor panel including a mineral-based core, wherein the panel includes at least one groove. The at least one groove may be provided in a rear side of the panel. There is also disclosed other such mineral-based panels, such as a building panel, a wall panel, a ceiling panel or a furniture panel. There is also disclosed a method for forming such grooves in a mineral-based panel. Furthermore, there is disclosed a mineral-based panel including a mineral-based core and polymer-based lower layer(s) attached to the core. A locking system of the panel includes a strip extending horizontally beyond an upper portion of the panel, wherein at least a horizontal portion of the strip is entirely formed in the polymer-based lower layer(s).
Curving tool for wall and ceiling framing members
A tool for shaping wall and ceiling framing members includes a frame and a plate that is adjustable with respect to the fame. A fulcrum is repositionable with the plate to predetermined locations that permit bending of the wall or ceiling framing member about the fulcrum. The member is shaped by placing a first portion of the member at the first end of the frame, placing a second portion of the member at the fulcrum, and bending the member about the fulcrum. To obtain an accurate shaping to the member, the member may be bent about the fulcrum until a third portion contacts a second end of the frame, wherein the fulcrum is between the first and second ends of the frame.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FORMING GROOVES IN A BOARD ELEMENT AND AN ASSOCIATED PANEL
A method for forming grooves in a board element. An exemplary method includes arranging the board element in contact with a support member, and forming at least one groove in a rear side of the board element by removing material, such as chips, from the board element by rotating one or more cutting devices including a plurality of tooth elements configured to rotate around a rotational axis. A method further includes counteracting, such as preventing, a displacement of the board element away from the support member during forming of the at least one groove, wherein the counteracting, such as preventing, includes arranging at least a portion of the board element between an obstruction element and the support member.
DECK BOARD
This invention relates to a deck board (1) and more particularly, to a reduced material deck board (1). In accordance with this invention there is provided a deck board (1) comprising an operatively upper board section (4) having at least one operatively downwardly depending support leg (5) terminating in at least one flange (7), an underside of the flange (7) having a concave surface.
PANEL FORMING
Building panels, especially laminated floor panels are shown, which are provided with a locking system and several core grooves at the rear side in order to save material and decrease weight. Building panels, each having a surface layer on a front side, a backing layer on a rear side and an intermediate core, wherein the intermediate core and the surface and the backing layer all comprise wood fibres and thermosetting resins, the building panels are provided with a locking system for vertical and horizontal locking of a first edge of a first building panel to an adjacent second edge of a second building panel.
