Devices and methods for fitting luxury vinyl floorcovering to interior stairs
Systems and methods can include scoring a backing material of a luxury vinyl plank (LVP) to allow an otherwise rigid plank to flex within a scoring section. The scoring section can include multiple parallel grooves that reach a depth that partially scores the backing material. The LVP can be positioned on a stair tread such that the scoring section wraps around an edge of the tread nose. The LVP can be clamped on top and bottom of the stair tread nose to allow adhesives to take effect. A scoring device can include a blade assembly with multiple blades to create multiple scored grooves in one pass.
FLOORBOARDS PROVIDED WITH A MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM
Floorboards provided with a mechanical locking system including a locking strip protruding from a first edge of a first floorboard. The locking strip is provided with a locking element configured to cooperate with a locking groove at a lower side of a second edge of a second floorboard for locking the first edge and the second edge in a horizontal direction. The first edge and the second edge are configured to be assembled by a vertical downward motion of the second edge towards the first edge. The second edge is provided with a calibrating groove adjacent the locking groove. Also, a method for producing a mechanical locking system.
Panel forming
Building panels, especially laminated floor panels are shown, which are provided with a locking system and several core grooves at the rear side in order to save material and decrease weight. Building panels, each having a surface layer on a front side, a backing layer on a rear side and an intermediate core, wherein the intermediate core and the surface and the backing layer all comprise wood fibres and thermosetting resins, said building panels are provided with a locking system for vertical and horizontal locking of a first edge of a first building panel to an adjacent second edge of a second building panel.
Thermoplastic-based building panel comprising a balancing layer
A thermoplastic-based building panel, such as a floor panel. The building panel includes an upper layer arrangement, a lower layer arrangement, and a balancing layer provided between the lower and the upper layer arrangement. The building panel further includes a groove arrangement including grooves. A thermoplastic-based building panel including an upper layer arrangement and a balancing layer which is a bottom layer of the building panel. The building panel includes a groove arrangement, wherein a major portion of the grooves therein is provided in the balancing layer only. A thermoplastic-based building panel including a mechanical locking system for horizontally and/or vertically locking the building panel to an adjacent building panel. The mechanical locking system includes a cooperating surface which is situated in a balancing layer and is configured to cooperate with a cooperating surface of an adjacent building panel.

MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR FLOOR PANELS
Building panels provided with a locking system for vertical and horizontal locking of a first edge and a second edge of adjacent panels. The locking system includes a displaceable tongue at least partly arranged in a displacement groove, a tongue groove, a cavity provided in a strip at the first edge, and a protrusion extending downwards at the second edge. The displaceable tongue is arranged to be displaced at least partly into the tongue groove during locking, and wherein the protrusion is arranged to be located in least a portion of the cavity when the panels are locked vertically and horizontally.
Luxury vinyl plank stair noses and other moldings
A molding is made from a first flooring plank. A first groove is formed into the first flooring plank with a first flat bottom surface. A second groove is formed into the first flooring plank with a second flat bottom surface. The first flooring plank is folded at the first groove and second groove. A second flooring plank is disposed adjacent to the molding. A color and pattern of the first flooring plank and second flooring plank match.
Dimensionally stable floor panel
A floor panel is provided. The floor panel composition includes a wear layer and a base layer. The base layer includes a first base sections having a first composition of polyvinyl chloride, filler, and plasticizer, a second base sections having a second composition with a higher content of polyvinyl and plasticizer than the first composition, and a glass fiber section positioned between the first base section and the second base section.
