Modular Scaffolds, Scaffold Kits and Methods of Use Therefor
An exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a first end section comprising a ladder section couple to a leg section by a horizontal extension coupling member, wherein the horizontal extension coupling member is in varying lengths to allow control over the width of the completed scaffold 10. Alternatively, the scaffold first end section may be coupled without the use of a horizontal extension coupling member. A completed scaffold may be accomplished by completing a first end section and a second end section and coupling the two with a cross-brass member that has been completed with the use of two loose brace members. Further completed scaffolds may be stacked upon each other. Planks or platforms may be utilized with the exemplary embodiments. Various kits are provided that provide for a full scaffold of varying widths. Kits may also contain additional materials such as planks, platforms, or additional horizontal extension coupling members to allow for a variety of widths of the finished scaffold.
Interlocking work platform system and method
A work platform system having a first work platform. The system having a first bracket attached to the first scaffold and extending below and outward beyond the first scaffold between the first rail and the second rail of the first leg assembly. The system having a second bracket attached to the first scaffold and extending below and outward beyond the first scaffold between the first rail and the second rail of the first leg assembly. The system having a second work platform. The first end of the second scaffold is disposed on the first bracket and the second bracket with the first bracket and the second bracket extending between the first rung of the third leg assembly and the second scaffold. A method for using a work platform system.

Locking Pin for Multifunction Scaffold
A side rail assembly useful for securing a deck of a scaffold comprises a side rail configured to be supported between two ladder frames in first and second orientations. The side rail includes first and second support surfaces for supporting the deck in the first and second orientations, respectively. First and second vertically aligned slots are formed in respective opposing surfaces of the side rail. The side rail assembly further comprises a locking pin assembly comprising a shaft, a locking tab, and a biasing member to bias the locking tab into engagement with the deck and secure the deck against one of the support surfaces of the side rail depending on the orientation. The locking pin assembly is configured to be removably engaged with the first and second slots of the side rail in both the first and second orientations.
GUARD RAIL ASSEMBLY FOR A SCAFFOLD
Preceding guardrail for a scaffolding system for buildup of a scaffold bay. The guardrail assembly comprises a guardrail, a base part, a mounting system for mounting of the base part to a part of the scaffold bay, at least a first post and a second post, and a lifting arm. The guardrail extends along a longitudinal axis. The base part extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the guardrail. The first and second post are each pivotably connected to the guardrail by a first pivoting point and pivotably connected to the base part by a second pivoting point, whereby the guardrail, the base part, the first, and the second post together form a parallelogram link system. The lifting arm is fixedly connected with the first post and extends in line with the first post from the second pivoting point away from the first pivoting point.

Walkway installation having a handrail connector
A walkway installation includes a walkway assembly which includes at least one tread module supported by a pair of spaced apart elongate supports which extend in the direction of the length of the walkway installation, the walkway installation additionally including a handrail assembly including a handrail which extends in the direction of the length of the walkway assembly and a plurality of spaced apart posts which each secure the handrail relative to the walkway assembly, the handrail assembly additionally including a first connector which secures a post to one side of the walkway assembly and the first connector having secured thereto a substantially inflexible transverse link which extends across the walkway assembly in a direction perpendicular to the length of the walkway installation, the transverse link extending to a second connector secured to the other side of the walkway.
Support apparatus
A support apparatus 1 for supporting a user in an elevated working position above a ground surface G comprises a frame 60 for supporting a floor portion 20 of the support apparatus and a plurality of leg members 40a, 40b mounted to the frame 60 for supporting the frame above the ground surface G. Each leg member has a foot portion 42 for engaging the ground surface G. Each leg member is rotatably mounted to the frame for rotation about a rotational axis which is substantially perpendicular to the width and the length of the frame and each leg member extends from the frame in a radial direction of the rotational axis, whereby the foot portion is offset from the rotational axis.
