Connector for a Scaffolding System
A connector for a scaffolding system includes end portions and a central portion. The central portion includes raised upper and side regions that protrude outward. Raised side regions of the central portion also includes an indent disposed distally from the raised upper region. The end portions are securable to a support beam of the scaffolding system, where the raised upper region is substantially coplanar with an upper wall of the support beam when the support beam is coupled to an end portion.
TOE BOARD FOR SCAFFOLDING
The safety of scaffolding is enhanced by providing a scaffolding toe board system comprising a plurality of toe boards constructed of a panel and a pair of brackets used to couple the ends of the panel to adjacent support posts of the scaffolding. The brackets are all identical, quick and easy to deploy, and designed so that the brackets of two toe boards coupled to the same support post will not interfere with each other.
Stocker and method for forming work platform
A stocker includes a transporter that travels through a traveling space within a stocker and transports an article, a pair of rails that flank the traveling space extend in parallel or substantially in parallel in a horizontal direction, platforms movable along the pair of rails, and a housing provided on a stocker outer side of a door that separates an inside and an outside of the stocker, and that houses the platforms. The pair of rails extend from the inside of the stocker to the housing through an opening directly under the door. At least one of the platforms includes a fence in an upright standing manner and an upper end of the fence is higher than an upper end of the opening. The platform that includes the fence extends across the inside of the stocker and the outside of the stocker via the opening while the fence is arranged on a stocker inner side.

Safety Latch for a Multifunction Scaffold
A lightweight, multifunction scaffold comprises first and second ladder frames, and an adjustable height platform configured to be supported between the first and second ladder frames at a user selected height in an adjustment range. The adjustable height platform comprises a pair of spaced-apart side rails extending between the ladder frames and a deck supported on opposing sides by the side rails. The deck includes at least one recess in a top surface of the deck adjacent each of the opposing sides of the deck. The scaffold further includes at least one latch rotatably mounted to each side rail and including a catch element for engagement with the recess in the top surface of the deck to secure the deck on the side rails. The latch is movable between a disengaged position allowing the deck to be installed or removed from the side rials and an engaged position in which the catch element extends over a top surface of the deck and engages with a respective one of the recesses in the deck so that the catch element is flush with or below the surface of the deck.
Platform system
A modular platform system utilizing a number of components including a platform. The platform is configured so that each of the components may interchangeably connect to any side of the platform. The components include, for example, handrails and stairways, as well as other platforms. The platform and most of the components are formed from single, continuous pieces of metal.

Mechanical proximity sensor for a slidable extension of a worker support apparatus
Apparatus, devices, and methods relating to a mechanical proximity sensor for a slidable extension. An illustrative apparatus may comprise an elevated platform and an extension slidably extendable from the elevated platform toward a workpiece. The apparatus also may comprise a probe coupled movably to the extension. The apparatus further may comprise an indicator connected to the probe and configured to rotate from a first orientation to a second orientation in response to engagement between the probe and the workpiece as the extension approaches the workpiece. The indicator may be configured to complete rotation from the first orientation to the second orientation when a leading edge of the extension is located at a predetermined distance from the workpiece.

Fastening element
A scaffolding element having a scaffolding pole, at least one fastening element being disposed or formed on the scaffolding pole. The fastening element preferably has a fastening element body. The fastening element body can be L-shaped. Preferably, the free end of the fastening element body points straight upwards when the scaffolding element is in the mounted state. A projection is disposed or formed below the free end on the fastening element body, in particular in a section parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scaffolding pole. The projection can be part of a U-shaped bead.
