A modular platform system utilizing a number of components including a platform. The platform is configured so that each of the components may interchangeably connect to any side of the platform. The components include, for example, handrails and stairways, as well as other platforms. The platform and most of the components are formed from single, continuous pieces of metal.

The claimed invention relates to a folding utility scaffold that greatly reduces the space requirement for shipment when the utility scaffold is in the folded configuration while maintaining or increasing stability. The scaffold includes first and second ladder frames and a hinge assembly interconnecting the ladder frames. The scaffold comprises first and second ladder frames and a hinge assembly interconnecting the ladder frames. The hinge assembly enables movement of the scaffold between an unfolded configuration in which the ladder frames are spaced apart and a folded configuration in which the ladder frames are disposed side by side, i.e., with the ladder frames touching. A stand may have a working platform with a floor for sitting or standing upon and a support pedestal assembly extending downwardly from the working platform to provide support to the working platform elevated above the support pedestal assembly. A platform guard panel may extend along a side of the working platform to guide an article moving adjacent to the working platform along the side of the working platform.

A scaffolding system includes a plurality of scaffolding modules capable of being assembled with each other. Each of the scaffolding modules includes: a frame having a plurality of wire rods interconnected to form a worker accommodation space, and having a scaffold plank part and a plurality of sidewall parts erected with respect to the scaffold flank part; and a protective member having a wooden plate layer, which is formed of a wooden plate body and fixedly provided to cover at least some of the side wall parts of the frame, and a hard elastic layer, which is formed of a polyurea material and applied to one surface of the wooden plate layer.

A scaffolding system includes a plurality of scaffolding modules capable of being assembled with each other.
