Stabilization of Multi-Purpose Scaffold
Stabilization components are described for use with a lightweight scaffold comprising two ladder frames, an adjustable platform supported between the two ladder frames, and casters. Each ladder frames include two vertical supports connected by cross members. The platform comprises two side rails having guide channels at each end thereof that slide along the vertical supports. The casters includes stems that insert into the lower ends of the vertical supports. When installed, the stabilization components reduce shaking and swaying of the lightweight scaffold.
Adjustable scaffolding tunnel assembly
An adjustable scaffolding tunnel assembly. The assembly includes a first pair of posts connected on upper and lower portions thereof to a second pair of posts via grooved members. A first cross beam is positioned between the first pair of posts, and a second cross beam is positioned between the second pair of posts. A plurality of support beams is disposed between the first and second cross beams. The first and second pairs of posts are vertically adjustable, and the first and second cross beams and the support beams are laterally adjustable. In this manner, a height and a width of the assembly are individually adjustable. The adjustable scaffolding tunnel assembly can hold one or more isolation members, such as wood or drywall, to isolate an interior of the assembly from an exterior of the assembly.
ENHANCED SAFETY CAGE APPARATUS FOR WORK AREAS ON TOP OF ROLLING STOCK SUCH AS RAIL TANK CARS
A cage for surrounding a section of a work area of the top of rolling stock includes an inboard side, an outboard side, a front end section and a back end section. The inboard side of the cage is attached to an associated deployment apparatus. Each of the two sides can define a pair of fence notches to slide over the rails surrounding the work area. Each of the two end sections can define an inboard notch and a center notch. Some embodiments of the end sections can define an outboard notch that includes a self-adjusting straddle. The cage can be provided as part of a portable fall protection device that includes a telescoping positioning mechanism.
ADJUSTABLE MECHANIC APPARATUS
An adjustable mechanic apparatus to facilitate elevated access to a vehicle, including a bottom frame portion to allow a user to stand thereupon, the bottom portion including a bottom central planar surface to be disposed near a front portion or a rear portion of the vehicle, the bottom central planar surface having a length that is longer than a width of the vehicle, and such that the bottom central planar surface is disposed substantially perpendicularly with respect to a length of the vehicle, a first bottom planar support surface disposed perpendicularly away from a first end of the bottom central planar surface with respect to a first lateral direction, a second bottom planar support surface disposed perpendicularly away from a second end of the bottom central planar surface with respect to the first lateral direction, and a plurality of adjustable legs removably connected to at least a portion of at least one of a bottom portion of the bottom central planar surface, a bottom portion of the first bottom planar support surface, and a bottom portion of the second bottom planar support frame to allow the bottom surface portion to be elevated above a ground surface, and a top frame portion to extend perpendicularly away from a top surface of the bottom frame portion in a second direction to create a wall-like structure that prevents the user from falling onto the vehicle.
Caster assembly and apparatus incorporating same
A caster assembly for use with varies structures, including ladders and elevated platforms is provided. In one embodiment, the caster assembly includes a first wheel coupled with a first bracket and configured to rotate about a first axis relative to the first bracket. A shaft is coupled to the first bracket as well as to a second bracket. The first bracket is rotatable relative to the second bracket about a second axis, which may be coincident with, or parallel to, an axis of the shaft. A third bracket is coupled with the shaft and is rotatable about the second axis, the third bracket being selectively locked in at least two positions relative to the second bracket. A second wheel is coupled with the third bracket, the second wheel being rotatable relative to the third bracket about a third axis.
Containment work platform
A support platform for enabling a worker to service an oil well next to a wellhead having a valve tree includes a platform having an upper floor, a lower floor and a cavity in between the floors. A platform provides a periphery, a central opening and radially extending beams. A plurality of walls attached to the periphery of the platform, said beams connecting to said walls below said upper floor. A drain that enables fluid to drain from the upper floor to the lower floor and into the cavity. A coupler that spans between the floors for enabling a connection to be made between the platform and valve tree. A liquid guard or other provision that disallows the escape of fluid from a floor via the central opening. One or more sleeves are provided in the cavity, each connecting to the upper floor, each sleeve having a bore that extends to and through the upper floor. Fluid that drains to the cavity is not able to escape the cavity via the sleeve or sleeve bore.
Scissor-lift
The scissor lift includes a horizontally collapsible base, a vertically collapsible frame mounted on the base, a horizontally foldable platform mounted on top of the vertically collapsible frame, and a plurality of wheels mounted on the base. The horizontally and vertically collapsible scissor lift is steerable and the plurality of wheels may be coupled such that they each rotate about a vertical axis synchronously with respect to one another to steer the lift. Further, at least one of the wheels may be self-driving to controllably propel the horizontally and vertically collapsible scissor lift. One or more winches with associated cables may be used to selectively raise and lower the vertically collapsible frame.

VEHICLE AND METHOD OF TENDING TO AN ELEVATED AGRICULTURE
A vehicle and method of tending to an elevated agriculture includes a base extending from a forward base portion to a rearward base portion, a support frame, an elevated platform, a guide rail, and a drive unit. The elevated platform is connected to the support frame such that the elevated platform is positioned vertically above the base and horizontally between the forward and rearward base portions. The elevated platform is configured to selectively, vertically raise upward from a lower height toward a higher height. The guide rail extends vertically upward from the elevated platform and horizontally surrounds at least a portion of the elevated platform for bounding an operator atop the elevated platform. The drive unit is configured to selectively direct horizontal movement of the base with the elevated platform thereon for supporting the operator on the elevated platform while moving the elevated platform within the agriculture facility.
