COLLAPSIBLE WORK PLATFORM
A collapsible work platform includes toprails engaging fixedly to a platform, backrails engaging the toprails pivotally through a hinge at an end portion of the pair of toprails, frontrails engaging the toprails pivotally through a hinge at the other portion of the toprails, link bars engaging the toprails pivotally, a footstep engaging the link bars and the frontrails pivotally, and braces engaging the backrails and the frontrails, and the toprails pivotally through hinges. Each of latching plates having a latching portion engages fixedly the end portions of the backrails and the frontrails maintaining the deployed state by the braces. Each of stopper blocks engage protrudingly an inner side and an outer side of one end and the other end of the toprails, so that the latching portion of the latching plate contacts and engages fixedly and the backrails and the frontrails are not deployed further beyond a certain point.
METHOD OF TENDING TO LIVESTOCK WITHIN A LIVESTOCK CONFINEMENT FACILITY
A method of tending to livestock within a livestock confinement facility includes a vehicle having a support frame, a drive unit, and an elevated platform. The support frame extends vertically upward from a base and has a lower portion and an upper portion with the drive unit being operatively attached to the base. The elevated platform is affixed to the upper portion of the support frame and configured to support an operator thereon while moving along the livestock confinement facility. The method includes supporting the operator on the elevated platform within the livestock confinement facility. The method further includes moving the vehicle along a floor of the livestock confinement facility in order to move the operator along the livestock confinement facility from atop the elevated platform such that the operator tends to livestock from atop the elevated platform.
Scaffold and Method
A scaffold includes a first end frame assembly. The scaffold includes a second end frame assembly. The scaffold includes a first side brace assembly supported by the first end frame assembly and the second end frame assembly. The scaffold includes a second side brace assembly supported by the first end frame assembly and the second end frame assembly. Each end frame assembly has a first rail with holes and a caster assembly and a second rail with holes and a caster assembly and a horizontal that is attached to each rail. Each side brace assembly has a locking pin in proximity to each end which engages with a hole in a respective rail, and an associated guard disposed about each pin. Each locking pin has a handle which has a length that extends below the associated guard on an interior side of the guard. A method for a scaffold.
