20230151625 · 2023-05-18 ·

The present disclosure relates to a common tower configured to be erected adjacent a building structure into construction. The tower comprises spaced apart columns, made of vertically aligned column hollow sections, spacedly and substantially vertically positioned adjacent the building structure, and vertically spaced apart flooring structures releasably and slidably supported by the spaced apart columns using a plurality of sliders. Each flooring structure is being capable of vertical displacement when supported by the spaced apart columns. The tower further comprises an anchoring system adapted to securely engage with the building structure to maintain the spaced apart columns substantially upright, as well as protection structures adapted to surround the flooring structures. A safe and easy erection of the tower using a common tower assembly is described.

FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM

A fall protection system includes an elevation mechanism including a base end and an elevated end, and that is configured to permit a user to scale the elevation mechanism. The first channel is disposed at a first side of the elevation mechanism and extends between the base end and the elevated end, and is configured to anchor a first shuttle to the elevation mechanism and permit the first shuttle to transition between the base end and the elevated end of the elevation mechanism. The second channel is disposed at a second side of the elevation mechanism and extends between the base end and the elevated end, and is configured to anchor a second shuttle to the elevation mechanism and permit the second shuttle to transition between the base end and the elevated end of the elevation mechanism.

Anchoring device for shoring walls

The anchoring device for shuttering walls includes a body containing an arm with a top tab, a fastening part for at least one connector, a moving closing part mounted in the body and pressed to the closed position at rest, and a locking part. The closing part is a sliding part with an indentation on one of its lateral surfaces which is matched with the slider lock in the open position of the device, and with pass-through pockets and a bottom tab, forming, together with the arm and the upper tab of the body, a tong closure assembly. The device has a set of springs, of which one pushing spring is located inside the body directly above the slider lock and is secured from above by a pressure screw. The three compression springs are located inside the body in the pass-through pockets of the slide.

Outrigger for Multi-Function Scaffold
20220316222 · 2022-10-06 ·

A lightweight, multi-function scaffold includes an adjustable height platform that slidably mounts between two ladder frames and a plurality of outriggers to increase stability. The outriggers attach to the ladder frames of the scaffold and extend beyond an end of the scaffold in the longitudinal direction to increase the maximum base width. Increasing the maximum base width increases stability in the longitudinal dimension and reduces the risk of tipping the scaffold end over end when a user climbs the ladder frame to access the platform.

Triple latching horizontal scaffold member with three triggers

A horizontal scaffold member having a primary end connector and a secondary end connector. Each end connector is configured to couple to a cup or rosette on a vertical scaffold member. Each end connector includes a wedge assembly having a handle and a wedge, movable with respect to the connector to a latched and unlatched position. The primary wedge assembly has a primary and tertiary handles, with the tertiary handles connected to the secondary wedge assembly by a cable, and configured so that moving the primary and tertiary handles simultaneously to an unlatched position also moves the secondary wedge assembly to an unlatched position.

Method of Erecting An Offset Scaffold Platform
20210270048 · 2021-09-02 ·

The invention includes a method of building an offset scaffold platform to an existing scaffold structure by using pivoting horizontal scaffold truss members, where each truss has a first end with a pivoting connector that pivot vertically and second ends that have second connectors that pivot horizontally. Each pivoting connector has a movable latch that, when latched, restricts uncoupling from a coupled vertical scaffold member but allows the pivoting coupled truss to remain moveable about the pivoting connector. The method includes the step of connecting one truss to a vertical scaffold member in an existing frame about the vertically pivoting end and connecting the second truss to another vertical scaffold member in the existing scaffold structure about one of its pivoting ends. Each pivoting connector latch is moved to the latched position, each truss is pivoted about its coupled end, and the uncoupled ends are each connected to vertical scaffold members which are supported from an overhead structure. Scaffold boards are positioned between the pivoted trusses to create a working surface therebetween.

Containment shroud system

An apparatus and method for the containment of vertical structures using a flexible, collapsible, and movable shroud. The shroud containment system protects the surrounding environment by catching liquid and solid debris and contaminants from the inside and protects the enshrouded structure and workers from wind, debris, contaminants, and precipitation on the outside as well as providing enhanced protection against falling persons and equipment. The shroud also conceals the vertical structure in whole or in part and greatly eases the setup, takedown, and relocation of the shroud along the axis of the vertical structure due to its modular, impermanent design and method of erection, collapse, and translation.

PORTABLE CEILING JOIST SUPPORT SYSTEM

A portable ceiling joist support system is described. In some examples, a portable ceiling joist support system can include a first shaft equipped with a first slot and a first aperture, wherein each end of the first shaft is attached to one of a first set of two brackets configured to attach to a first ceiling joist. The portable ceiling joist support system can also include a second shaft equipped with a second slot and a second aperture, wherein each end of the second shaft is attached to one of a second set of two brackets configured to attach to a second ceiling joist.
