LADDER-BASED WINCH-POWERED PLANK SCAFFOLD
A plank scaffold system and, more particularly, to a ladder-based vertically-adjustable plank scaffold system. The system may have a pair of ladders, a wall standoff mounted at the top of each of the ladders, a crane support mounted at the top of each of the ladders, a vertical guide bar and roller system to keep it from swinging on the cables, and a horizontal platform suspended on cables below the crane supports, the platform having a pair of cable winches mounted thereon for varying the elevation of the platform. Instead of ladders, tower scaffolds or stage towers may be used on each side to support the vertically-adjustable plank.
ROOFING GUARD FOR CARPENTERS
In various aspects and embodiments a roofing guard device 200 comprises a mount portion 210, brace portion 220, optional lateral supports 240, and restraint flanges 214, 216, as well as optional fall-arrest mount(s) 230. By securely supporting a foot guard 12 such as a board or plank and providing secure attachment points for roofing harnesses 400 or other fall-arrest devices, the roofing guard device 200 provides increased protection against falls and other mishaps. When configured such that a gap between the foot guard 12 and an edge 101 of the roof 100 is entirely or substantially eliminated, roofing guard devices in accordance with the invention can further help to eliminate dangers from falling tools, hardware, etc.
ROOFING GUARD FOR CARPENTERS
In various aspects and embodiments a roofing guard device 200, 202 comprises a mount portion 210, optional brace portion 220, lateral supports 240, restraint flanges 214, 216, and fencing post 275 for engagement of fencing panels 300, as well as optional fall-arrest mount 230. By securely supporting fencing 300 and optional foot braces 12, the roofing guard device 200, 202 and corresponding roofing systems reduce the likelihood of workers or materials falling from roofs or other high places.
Anchoring device and method for installation
A system and method for creating an anchoring device that attaches between two nearby surfaces that may be oriented at different angles to each other about a vertical axis is described. The anchoring device includes a first and second support base that are fastened to a support surface, and a cross member that extends between the support bases and is pivotable about a vertical axis with respect to the support bases. The cross member may be adjustable in length. The anchoring device can be used to support an end of a plank to make a platform. The other end of the plank may be supported by a second anchoring device or another support surface.
Bracket scaffold
A bracket scaffold for arrangement on a curved surface of a structure includes a first securing element arranged on the structure. The bracket scaffold has an end-side first coupling element which is, in particular in a limited manner, pivotably arranged on a first carrier of the bracket scaffold. A rotation axis of the first coupling element preferably intersects with the support location of the first coupling element on the first securing element. The pivot radius of the first coupling element describes in particular a concave pivot arc on the first carrier. The rotation axis is located from the first guide preferably in the direction of the free end of the first coupling element. Extension torques in the articulation, which is formed by the first guide, are minimized by the bracket scaffold being pulled away from the structure.
GRABBER TOOL AND SYSTEM
Devices for anchoring objects to structural elements such as rafter beams and other similar objects are disclosed. Such anchoring devices include coupling devices configured to grasp beams nondestructively and may include multiple coupling devices to enable supporting extended structures too large or heavy to be supported by a single anchoring point in areas where hanging or supporting objects might otherwise be difficult.
STAIRS TO WALKWAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed is an arrangement including a staircase as well as walkway systems. The staircase includes a transitional member, and the walkways incorporate grate supports in order to facilitate the connection to adjacent structures. The arrangement also utilizes angled members which are configured with a reinforced flange existing in a dimension that has higher load requirements than the other flange. A novel step configuration is also disclosed.

POST CONNECTION ADAPTER
A post connection adapter for detachably fastening a scaffolding post to a support includes a fastening body having first and second fastening-body fasteners in first and second fastening-body fastening positions, respectively, and detachably fastenable to the support selectively by the first or second fastener. The first and second positions have a fastening position distance between each other of 72 mm. The post connection adapter includes a post connection body extending toward the post connection body axis and fastened to the fastening body. An imaginary center plane containing an imaginary center point between the first and second positions is offset by 20 mm perpendicular to the center plane and to the post connection body axis, with respect to a post connection body axis plane extending parallel to the center plane and containing the post connection body axis. A device has two identical post connection adapters detachably fastened to a support.
