A standing seam mounting bracket and a method of using two or three to provide attachment points along a standing seam roof is provided. The standing seam mounting brackets enable complementary use of commonly-owned equipment for enabling roof maintenance and construction. The standing seam mounting brackets may be used in concert with roof jacks, roof ladders, scaffolding members and the like that are commonly owned by most contractors so as to facilitate safe and easy horizontal and vertical movement along the sloped roof.

High-rise architectural structure and maintenance method therefor

To ensure maintenance operations for an architectural structure using a mast climber without any limitation on the stability of a mast and locations where a mast can be erected. A side wall 101 of an architectural structure 100 is fitted with a fixing member 130 at a level higher than the ground 500. The fixing member 130 is fitted with fixture studs 132. A mast 200 is erected on the fixing member 130 with its lower end secured to the fixture studs 132. A climbing work platform 210 that travels up and down the mast 200 is fixed to the mast 200. A worker performs maintenance operations on the climbing work platform 210.

REMOTE-CONTROLLED SHINGLE INSTALLATION JACK
20190135602 · 2019-05-09 ·

The shingle installation jack devices may be mounted once at a first roof level, providing support for the walk board. When installation or repair of the shingles is complete at the first level of the roof, the shingle installation jack devices may be operated in tandem to raise the level of the walk board to a second level of the roof. Shingle installation and/or repair may then be carried out at this second roof level without the need to re-mount the walk board supports at the second level. The shingle installation jack devices may also be run in reverse to lower the walk boards. The shingle installation device includes a frame and utilizes a winch motor to adjust the effective length of a cable and thus adjustably raise or lower the walk boards to any desired roof level.

Rack Construction Assembly

A rack construction assembly for building a storage rack includes a plurality of bracket units. Each of the bracket units has a plurality of channels therein to insertably receive dimensional lumber. Thus, the dimensional lumber is arranged to form a rack for storing objects. Each of the channels corresponding to each of the bracket units is oriented at right angles with respect to each other. Thus, the dimensional lumber corresponding to each of the channels defines an X axis, a Y axis and a Z axis of the rack.

Shield

A temporary shield erected between two flanged structural members of a bridge or other structure, a kit therefor, and a method for erection of the shield. A plurality of length-adjustable beams have end portions which are rested on flanges respectively of the structural members. Decking is attached to the beams. At least one elongate member is cantileverly extended from at least one of the beams to underlie a structural member flange to prevent wind lift up of the shield.

STABILIZER POSTS FOR SCAFFOLD HOIST
