KIT FOR ERECTING A PLATFORM
A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.
UPRIGHT SUPPORT BAR
An upright support bar includes a mount disposed at the pivotal joint between an outer tube and an inner tube, a button pivoted to the mount and providing an actuation end, a finger grip and a latching portion so arranged that when the actuation end is biased downward, the latching portion is engaged in one of a series of holes of the inner tube, and a sliding block with a locking piece mounted on the mount movable relative to the mount between a first position where the locking piece is abutted against the finger grip to lock the button and a second position where the locking piece is released from the finger grip to unlock the button.
PUMP JACK CENTERING ROLLER SYSTEM
A roller system including a top roller, a middle roller, a split lower roller and a split workbench roller configured for a pump jack arranged for travelling up and down a pole, wherein the top roller includes flanges at both ends of the roller; wherein the split lower roller includes a pair of facing lower rollers, each of the pair of facing lower rollers having an outward tapered flange; and wherein the split workbench roller includes a pair of facing workbench rollers, each of the pair of facing workbench rollers having an outward tapered flange.
Platform system with moveable dividers
A modular system for forming a floor or platform. The modular system may have vertical dividers for forming divided sections. Multiple horizontal sections are positioned in a side by side arrangement and connected with connectors to form the platform or floor in a desired shape and coverage. Vertical dividers inserted into the horizontal sections and retained in the horizontal sections provide separation of the modular system into compartments.
Quad-chord truss and platform containing same
A foldable quad-chord truss which can be connected end-to-end with like trusses. Each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are swivelly attached to the chord pairs to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to connector members of beams which may extend perpendicular to a parallel pair of the trusses and attached thereto. The laid trusses and beams is overlaid with sheets of corrugated sheet metal which overlap each other along their adjacent edges. While standing on a sheet of laid sheet metal adjacent ends of an already laid pair of trusses, another truss can be held adjacent the edge of the sheet metal for attaching an end of the other truss along only one side so that it can then be swung outwardly into a position wherein the other end of the other truss can also be attached to rigidly connect the trusses end-to-end.

Monopole platform upper rail support
A platform assembly, such as for a utility or communications monopole, can include a central mounting bracket, such as can be configured for mounting about a monopole. One or more or at least three platforms can extend laterally from the central mounting bracket. One or more or at least three lower rails can extend between adjacent pairs of the platforms. One or more or at least three upper rails can be located above respective lower rails. A plurality of vertical mounting pipes can interconnect respective upper rails to corresponding lower rails. Such vertical mounting pipes can support the respective upper rails with respect to the corresponding lower rails. One or more or at least three corner connection plates can extend between adjacent upper rails. A vertical support pedestal can connect at least one of the corner connection plates to an underlying one of the one or more or at least three platforms.
Heavy duty bracket for multi-level cantilever shelves
A wall mounted shelf wherein a diagonal bracket can support an upper shelf, bar or beam several inches above the vertical wall bearing plate. A lower shelf, bar or beam can be hung from the upper shelf. A triangular platform comprises the diagonal bracket, the wall and a top shelf. The diagonal bracket transmits a large force vector into the vertical wall bearing plate as opposed to traditional knee braces that transmit a pivoting vector on the vertical wall bearing plate away from the wall. The result is a cost saving heavy duty shelving system using traditional lumber. An optional variable length diagonal bracket is disclosed. Another embodiment uses the same diagonal pair of brackets to store tires or other objects against the wall and eliminates the shelves and provides a chin up bar. Another embodiment replaces the lower shelf with a chin up bar between two diagonal brackets. Other embodiments include a tire storage mode, a lower bar used for hanging storage which replaces the lower shelf, and a (partially) removed lower shelf for hanging storage such as a bike rack.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING HIGH ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE FOR AERIAL WORK PLATFORM COMPONENTS
Methods, systems and apparatuses for providing high electrical resistance for an upper control assembly (including control handles) of an aerial lift are provided through an isolation member that is integral to the upper control assembly and interposed between fluid lines in the control assembly and a set of fluid conduits that extend from the control assembly towards other portions of the aerial lift. The isolation member is a dielectric element that comprises a manifold that is made of material that is substantially electrically non-conductive, and that has a plurality of through-holes or hoses configured to allow hydraulic fluid to flow through the isolation member into and out of the fluid lines and conduits. These methods, systems and apparatuses are preferably used in upper control assemblies of aerial platforms that can carry one or more operators in order to prevent such operators from electrocution when controlling the lift.
