A connector for interlocking components of scaffolding or other supporting structures for building forms. The connector includes a body having an internal chamber bounded laterally by planar first and second surfaces. A lever is seated in the chamber laterally intermediate and in close fit with the planar first and second surfaces for inhibiting lateral movement of the lever. The lever is movable between a lock position and a release position. A spring is seated in the chamber laterally intermediate and in close fit with the planar first and second surfaces for inhibiting lateral movement of the spring, the spring for biasing the lever into the lock position.

An element receptacle for providing a receptacle for a scaffolding element on a scaffolding element already positioned, the element receptacle comprising a receptacle which has a receptacle interface for receiving a scaffolding element which also has at least one joint region disposed adjacent to receiving interface, and which also has a clamping region disposed adjacent to the joint region on the side of the receptacle opposite the receptacle interface. The element receptacle also comprises a retainer which has an attaching element for attaching to a scaffolding element already positioned, and which also has at least one mating joint region. In the element receptacle, the joint region of the receptacle is inserted into the mating joint region of the retainer, or the mating joint region of the retainer is inserted into the joint region of the receptacle.

An element receptacle for providing a receptacle for a scaffolding element on a scaffolding element already positioned, the element receptacle comprising a receptacle which has a receptacle interface for receiving a scaffolding element which also has at least one joint region disposed adjacent to receiving interface, and which also has a clamping region disposed adjacent to the joint region on the side of the receptacle opposite the receptacle interface. The element receptacle also comprises a retainer which has an attaching element for attaching to a scaffolding element already positioned, and which also has at least one mating joint region. In the element receptacle, the joint region of the receptacle is inserted into the mating joint region of the retainer, or the mating joint region of the retainer is inserted into the joint region of the receptacle.

A scaffolding assembly adapted to be releasably attached to an elongate support member such as an overhead pipe. The scaffolding assembly has a split collar and a platform assembly adapted to be releasably attached to the split collar. The split collar comprises at least two segments which can encircle the pipe and be secured to one another. The platform assembly which includes a platform deck has a connector formation which extends laterally outwardly from the deck to an extent that it can engage a receiving formation on the collar assembly and thereby attach the platform assembly to the collar assembly.

A scaffolding assembly adapted to be releasably attached to an elongate support member such as an overhead pipe. The scaffolding assembly has a split collar and a platform assembly adapted to be releasably attached to the split collar. The split collar comprises at least two segments which can encircle the pipe and be secured to one another. The platform assembly which includes a platform deck has a connector formation which extends laterally outwardly from the deck to an extent that it can engage a receiving formation on the collar assembly and thereby attach the platform assembly to the collar assembly.

A means for solving the problem is characterized in including: a frame body including a pair of longitudinal beams, a pair of lateral beams, and four coupling members disposed between respective end portions of the longitudinal beams and respective end portions of the lateral beams so as to rotatably connect the longitudinal beams and the lateral beams on the same plane, two or more intermediate beams bridged between the longitudinal beams at a predetermined interval; and scaffolding boards bridged between the longitudinal beams and supported by at least one of the intermediate beams, the number of the scaffolding boards being larger than the installing number of the intermediate beams by one.

A means for solving the problem is characterized in including: a frame body including a pair of longitudinal beams, a pair of lateral beams, and four coupling members disposed between respective end portions of the longitudinal beams and respective end portions of the lateral beams so as to rotatably connect the longitudinal beams and the lateral beams on the same plane, two or more intermediate beams bridged between the longitudinal beams at a predetermined interval; and scaffolding boards bridged between the longitudinal beams and supported by at least one of the intermediate beams, the number of the scaffolding boards being larger than the installing number of the intermediate beams by one.

A modular platform system utilizing a number of components including a platform. The platform is configured so that each of the components may interchangeably connect to any side of the platform. The components include, for example, handrails and stairways, as well as other platforms. The platform and most of the components are formed from single, continuous pieces of metal.

The present invention relates to a temporary support structure and scaffolding system and components, and more particularly scaffolding beams and beam connectors, that are ultra-light weight, durable and exhibit high strength.
