Modular scaffolding horizontal end connector

An end connector for a horizontal scaffold member includes two sidewalls that are substantially parallel joined to a pipe. Each side wall has two spaced apart engagement section. The sidewalls extend into the interior of the pipe and remain substantially parallel in the interior of the pipe. A movable latch is positioned between the two sidewalls.

Connector apparatus

A locking member for a gate apparatus comprises a body mountable to a gripping array of a support, said body having a mating form mutually engageable with the gripping array, whereby axial motion of said body relative to said gripping array is inhibited. A member extends away from said body, said member defining a cross-tie mount for receiving a mating end of a cross-tie. The cross-tie mount has a cross-tie end retainer which is movable between a first position securing said cross-tie in said cross-tie mount, and a second position permitting release of said cross-tie from said cross-tie mount, whereby the cross-tie may be moved to function as a gate.

Support system for use in construction

A support system for supporting a work surface, such as a floating roof during maintenance of the associated tank. More particularly, the present disclosure is directed to providing a system composed on elements which can be transported without constrictive spaces, assembled within work area, and employed to provide support to a structure above and to provide a safe working environment therein. The support system includes four support members, each having a jack, a lower, and a cap, eight connectors which fix the support members in relation to one another and provide rigidity, and may include two connecting shafts to permit simultaneous adjustment of two jacks on a side of the support system.

A safety system (1) for scaffolding on a construction site having a plurality of elongate scaffolding elements (5) connected together by a plurality of couplers (7) to form a scaffolding structure (2). One or more elements connected to one or more base plates supporting the structure on a surface. At least two safety monitors (10) spaced apart about said structure. Each said monitor having a power source, a sensor and a transmitter. The sensor sensing movement in said structure and transmitting a signal to a receiver to indicate movement in the structure.

Platform system

A modular platform system utilizing a number of components including a platform. The platform is configured so that each of the components may interchangeably connect to any side of the platform. The components include, for example, handrails and stairways, as well as other platforms. The platform and most of the components are formed from single, continuous pieces of metal.

Locking pin for multifunction scaffold

A side rail assembly useful for securing a deck of a scaffold comprises a side rail configured to be supported between two ladder frames in first and second orientations. The side rail includes first and second support surfaces for supporting the deck in the first and second orientations, respectively. First and second vertically aligned slots are formed in respective opposing surfaces of the side rail. The side rail assembly further comprises a locking pin assembly comprising a shaft, a locking tab, and a biasing member to bias the locking tab into engagement with the deck and secure the deck against one of the support surfaces of the side rail depending on the orientation. The locking pin assembly is configured to be removably engaged with the first and second slots of the side rail in both the first and second orientations.
