The fixed terminating end is shaped to engage a scaffold vertical member.
MULTI-PURPOSE BEAM ASSEMBLY FOR SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM
A beam assembly for a scaffold system includes a support beam configured to couple with a plurality of modular components to allow the beam assembly to be built around a variety of different sized and shaped structures. The support beam having an upper attachment mount, a lower attachment mount, and a web member extending between and interconnecting the upper attachment mount and the lower attachment mount. The support beam having a plurality of holes of differing diameters to allow for the modular coupling with other scaffolding components.
ADVANCE INSTALLATION GUARDRAIL ASSEMBLY FOR SCAFFOLDING SYSTEMS
A scaffolding system includes a guardrail ledger having an elongated support member, a ledger head coupled to a first end of the elongated support member, and a hook ledger head coupled to a second end of the elongated support member. The hook ledger head is formed to include a first prong and a second prong configured to extend into a scaffolding rosette of a vertical scaffolding post to assist in the installation of the guardrail ledger prior to assembly of a work platform for an upper level of the scaffolding system.
Heavy duty transom for structural support systems
This publication relates to a tubular transom in particular for temporary structures, such as scaffolding or false work and similar structure, having ends configured to be connected to verticals at node sections arranged at intervals on the verticals. Each end of the transom comprises a fastening device with an integrated profile part, releasably attached to the tubular transom in an opening at the ends of the tubular transom. The transom comprises a first and at least second elongate, parallel and hollow tube elements, interconnected at least at each end by intermediate integrated web plates, rigidly fixed to said at least two tube elements. A contact surface of the opening in the first tube, is transversally arranged relative to one or more web plates. A contact surface of the opening in the second tube is transversally arranged relative to one or more web plates. The opening at the ends of the transom having at least partly a complimentary shape.
Adjustable Coupling System
An adjustable coupling system is provided for efficiently and removably coupling objects such as platforms together in a linear or diagonal orientation. The adjustable coupling system generally includes a second receiver on a first platform and a first connector on a second platform. The first connector is adapted to be removably inserted within the second receiver such that the first connector is prevented from vertical movement with respect to the first platform. A first locking member is positioned near the first receiver on the second platform. The first locking member is adapted to selectively engage with the second connector when the second connector is positioned within the first receiver to pivotally connect the first platform and the second platform. A work platform or catwalk can be formed with linear sections, diagonal sections, and/or a mix thereof for a wide range of uses.
Standard and ledger of a scaffolding system, and method for erecting the same
A standard (10) of a scaffolding system (1), comprising an elongate tubular wall (12), having a central longitudinal axis (L.sub.s), and at least one supporting projection (14) that protrudes radially outwardly from said tubular wall (12). When the standard (10) is in a vertical orientation, the supporting projection (14), seen in a tangential direction (T.sub.s) relative to the longitudinal axis (L.sub.s), forms an annular supporting surface (16) that encircles the tubular wall (12) and that defines alternating elevations (18) and depressions (20). Also disclosed is a ledger (30) with ledger couplings (40) configured for cooperation with said standard (10).
ELEVATED FLOORING SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
An elevated flooring system having plurality of beams configured to support a respective portion of at least one flooring panel, and at least one saddle configured to support the at least one of the beams. The saddle has a generally horizontally oriented base plate with an alignment post extending generally vertically upwardly from the base plate. The beam has an alignment passage extending through a portion of the bottom of a first end of the beam, wherein the alignment passage is configured to receive a portion of the alignment post of the saddle such that a portion of the beam rests on a portion of the base plate. A method of installing the elevated flooring system includes lowering a first beam and a second beam onto the alignment post of a saddle such that respective portions of the alignment post are received by the alignment passage of the first beam and the alignment passage of the second beam.
SCAFFOLDING COUPLER, STANDARD AND SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM
A scaffolding coupler intended for fixed attachment to the ends of a ledger of a scaffolding system. The scaffolding coupler comprises a foot and a hook which is integrally connected with the foot. The hook has a radial inside contour which is substantially circular segmental. The scaffolding coupler has at least one supporting surface which is formed by the foot and the hook and which, with the scaffolding coupler connected to a standard, rests on a supporting projection of the respective standard. The scaffolding coupler further comprises a pin which is slideably connected to the hook. The pin is configured as a bent pin, having a substantially circular segmental inside contour, which, in use, abuts directly against a pipe wall of a standard to be coupled to the first ledger or a ledger. The bent pin has a substantially circular segmental outside contour which abuts against the substantially circular segmental inside contour of the hook.
