Collapsible formwork for concrete walls
A collapsible formwork element, the element including: a pair of opposing side wall panels; and at least one connector member extending between the side wall panels, wherein the formwork element is movable between an expanded configuration, wherein the opposing panels are spaced apart, and a collapsed configuration, wherein the opposing panels are relatively closer together.
FOLDING FORM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STRUCTURAL WALLS
The present invention relates to a self-supporting, prefabricated, folding form structure or mechanism to be used in the construction industry. It is based on various types of geometries, providing enhanced strength and stability for the concrete and other building material casting process. The object of this invention is a foldable, prefabricated, self-supporting form and does not require a structure. It is configured in a variety of geometric shapes and is based on structural elements that have internal casting chambers or ducts interconnected between each other through perforated holes. This is done by means of internal assembly channels or cavities forming casting chambers. The casting chambers are interconnected with each other, through holes drilled in the structural elements. This way the form features an assembly between its walls through cracks or assembly cuts, creating an architecture of superior engineering that provides higher resistance and stability.
On-Site Construction and Repair of Structural Elements and Pipes of any Desired Diameter with Reusable Materials
A method and an article of manufacture are disclosed for constructing, reinforcing, and repairing various structural elements such as columns, piles and the like using formworks that are reusable. The reusable articles of manufacture employed in the disclosed methods are or, if desired, may be permanently left in place. Same or similar methods and articles of manufacture may be employed to easily construct pipes of any desired diameter in a very short time.

Device for forming a void in a concrete foundation
This disclosure describes devices and methods for forming voids in or adjacent concrete structures. In some embodiments, a device may include a structure. The structure may be substantially planar. The structure may include a plurality of channels extending therefrom. In some embodiments, the channels are closed at a first end distal from the structure. In some embodiments, the channels are open at a second end proximal to the structure. In some embodiments, the device may be formed from a molded pulp. The molded pulp may be configured to inhibit penetration of water. In some embodiments, the device may be configured to substantially support poured concrete during at least a portion of a curing process of the poured concrete.
Portable floor
A portable floor composed of a plurality of rectangular sections attached by hinges so that adjacent sections pivot between a rolled configuration for transportation and storage and a flat configuration to bear weight. A finger edge of the section has a plurality of spaced fingers with a beveled surface that extends from the bottom of the finger upwardly to the tip of the finger. The opposed notch edge of the section has a plurality of spaced notches with a beveled surface from the top of the section downwardly into the notch. The beveled surfaces are at an angle of 15° to 75°. The finger edge meshes with the notch edge of the adjacent section. Adjacent top surfaces are planar when the notch and finger beveled surfaces abut each other. The hinge is a pin extending through aligned holes in the fingers and cogs between the notches.
CONCRETE FLOOR AND CEILING SYSTEM WITHOUT STEEL REINFORCING
A building component system including a rigid plastic form having an arched shape in each of two perpendicular vertical planes and having a plurality of protrusions configured to engage concrete poured on top of the rigid plastic form. The system also includes concrete poured on top of the form and cured to bind to the form at least at the plurality of protrusions, thereby forming an arched ceiling for a first story of a building and a flat roof or flat floor for a second story of a building.
SHUTTERING ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A CONCRETE STRUCTURE IN A CAVITY
The invention relates to a shuttering element and to a method for constructing a concrete structure in a cavity. The shuttering element according to the invention is intended for the construction of a vertical wall of a concrete structure intended to contain a liquid. The shuttering element (100) comprises a first shuttering panel (110) made of perforated sheet metal, a second shuttering panel (120) made of fiber cement, and a plurality of spacers (130). It is possible to use the shuttering element (100) reversibly in the construction method. The construction method allows the production of a one-piece reinforced concrete structure which is dimensionally stable and not likely to crack. Furthermore, it is readily possible to widen the upper leveling of the walls in order to support the curbstones without any risk of cracks and/or breakages. Furthermore, the structure is variable while being compatible with any finishing covering.
ONE-WAY RETRACTABLE BUILDING FORMWORK APPARATUS
A one-way retractable building formwork apparatus for mounting on a mounting surface of a substrate module includes a first side bar disposed on one end of the mounting surface that extends along a lateral direction, a second side bar disposed on another end of the mounting surface and opposite to the first side bar along an extending direction transverse to the lateral direction, and a retractable unit that is disposed on the mounting surface, that is connected to the first side bar, and that is extendable along the extending direction to fixedly connect to the second side bar.
