FORMWORK FOR MANUFACTURING A CONCRETE STRUCTURE, FORMWORK SYSTEM FOR FORMING SUCH A FORMWORK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CONCRETE STRUCTURE
A formwork for manufacturing a concrete structure which is composed of one or several folding portions, provided with one or several hollow portions which in an unfolded and stretched condition have the shape of the contours of portions of the concrete structure to be formed, whereby the formwork can be placed on a bottom in an initial condition and whereby, by pouring or pumping concrete slurry in the hollow portions of the formwork, the formwork can be taken from the initial condition to the stretched condition so as to form the respective portions of the concrete structure.
Method and apparatus for forming a formwork for a concrete slab
A method and apparatus for forming a formwork for a ribbed or waffle concrete slab is provided. The apparatus includes a rectangular block having a ledge around the base, the ledge having a dimension of half the desired width of the base ribs of the concrete slab, and a keystone connector. The keystone connector has an engagement portion configured to attach to an engagement portion on each block. In a method, the blocks are laid out so that the ledges of adjacent blocks are in contact. A keystone connector is then placed at each intersection of four blocks by attaching the respective engagement portions of the keystone connector and each block so that the keystone connector holds each of the four blocks in place relative to one another. The keystone connector is also configured to retain a reinforcing rod laid in the channel between adjacent blocks.

FORMWORK DEVICE
The present invention relates to a formwork device for a battery formwork for the production of structural elements, in particular prefabricated concrete elements, which comprises at least two partition walls and the formwork device comprises two formwork panels that are connected to one another, preferably in an articulated manner, in order to be transferred from an unfolded state to a folded state, where each formwork panel comprises a formwork front side for attaching formwork elements and a formwork rear side, and the formwork rear sides of the two formwork panels face each other in the folded state and the formwork device is intended to be positioned in the folded state between the partition wall. The present invention further relates to an arrangement consisting of a battery formwork and at least one formwork device according to the invention, where the formwork device is arranged suspended in the battery formwork.
Concrete void forming method and device
This disclosure describes devices and methods for forming voids in or adjacent concrete structures. In some embodiments, a device may include a structure. The structure may be substantially planar. The structure may include a plurality of channels extending therefrom. In some embodiments, the channels are closed at a first end distal from the structure. In some embodiments, the channels are open at a second end proximal to the structure. In some embodiments, the device may be formed from a molded pulp. The molded pulp may be configured to inhibit penetration of water. In some embodiments, the device may be configured to substantially support poured concrete during at least a portion of a curing process of the poured concrete.
FRAMED MODULAR BALLAST BLOCK AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION
A ballast block has a uniquely designed framework consisting of lightweight, pre-fabricated, metal panel members and cross-bracing and elongated bracing members. The various components of the ballast block framework are compactly bundled and shipped to the end use location for assembly on-site. Once assembled, the ballast block framework is properly positioned on its permanent, end use location and concrete or equivalent ballast material is poured into the framework, completely filling its internal space. The ballast block can be sized and fabricated for the specific desired purpose.
Modular void form structure
A void form is composed of molded pulp and includes bottom-facing openings. Fresh concrete placed on top of a substrate material covering the void form structure is formed with a void space underneath that allows soil to expand.
Water proof construction unit
The present application includes a void form unit for creating a void space between concrete structures and expansive soil. The unit includes a cellular structure surrounded by a paper based shell. The cellular structure is impervious to moisture. Together the cellular structure and the shell make a singular rigid member. The rigid member is configured to temporarily support concrete and gradually increase in flexure so as to flex with the movement of the expansive soil. The shell is configured to weaken over time from the regulated absorption of moisture. The flexure of the cellular structure configured to increase with the deterioration of the shell.
