Reusable universal waffle-cavity molding form
11964408 · 2024-04-23 ·

A universally adaptable waffle-cavity form and methods for constructing a waffle panel are described. The waffle-cavity form is provided with a standard shape and size and can be easily adapted to alter the dimensions thereof. The form can be cut down and combined with one or more other cut down forms to provide a combined form with desired dimensions. The forms can also be combined without first being cut down through the use of a saddle that is placed over a joint therebetween. A plurality of the forms can be affixed to a mold decking in a desired arrangement using anchors installed therebetween to form a mold that is reusable to produce multiple waffle panels.

METHOD FOR ERECTING FRAMEWORK OF STRUCTURES

The invention concerns the construction process and can be employed in the course of construction of buildings and structures of different purposes in order to reduce labor consumption during formation of floor slabs, and to facilitate integrity retention of a slab and hoisting equipment during the rotation operation.

The carcassing method assumes simultaneous construction of bearing solid-cast reinforced-concrete structural vertical elements and hinged to them vertically oriented reinforced-concrete pivot floor slabs. The construction process involves preliminary installation of separating elements between slabs and bearing structures as well as between adjacent slabs. After the concrete has developed its strength, the above slabs shall be flipped to the horizontal position and butt joints between slabs and bearing vertical elements as well as between adjacent floor slabs shall be grouted. The vertical elements and floor slabs are formed in layers, vertical partition elements represent sheet-type or film-type polymer materials, the pivot hinge of floor slabs represent an elongated element located in the middle portion of a floor slab and whose longitudinal axis coincides with the slab rotation axis.

Bearing elements shall be formed as columns.

Tubular round-in-section hinge elements of horizontally adjacent floor slabs shall be located at opposite sides of the longitudinal axis of a column.

Floor slabs shall be reinforced by a prestressed reinforcement cage made of a sheathed steel cable.

Tendons shall be installed inside of floor slabs after their formation. For this, the solidifying grout is fed into cavity of the slip formwork inside a slab, linear voids are formed by means of channel formers.

The longitudinal axis of a hinge runs through the mass center of a floor slab.

Slabs shall be flipped in the ascending and descending order.

Channel formers shall be shifted upon shifting the formwork or upon transition to the next layer.

Channel formers shall comprise the broach for installation of tendons in channels.

Channel formers are equipped with vibrators for compaction of the grout.

After rotation of slabs, the reinforcing cable shall be placed inside transverse channels and shall be tensioned.

Stay-in-Place Forms and Methods and Equipment for Installation Thereof

Stay-in-place forms and methods and equipment for installing thereof. A concrete form includes a vertical component and a horizontal component, the vertical component located substantially perpendicular to the horizontal component. Also, the form includes an interior surface, at least a portion of the interior surface providing a form for supporting uncured concrete; wherein the uncured concrete forms a concrete structural portion upon curing of the uncured concrete; and wherein the interior surface remains attached to the concrete structural portion after curing. The form may include inserts and compatible form attachments. Also, forms including recesses may be utilized to reduce the weight thereof. Lifting equipment and accessories may be utilized to lift the form from a form holder and set same in place. Forms contain the work area as soon as it is installed to minimize fall hazards and the time, costs, and downtime associated with installation of safety measures.

Formwork system

A formwork system includes a height-adjustable support for supporting a beam in substantially horizontal or slightly inclined position that includes a support with a central upstanding member and a support arm. The support arm has a rounded socket, and the beam has a cylindrical mounting pin proximate its end. The socket and mounting pin are shaped and sized so that the mounting pin is retained within the socket and they together form a hinge joint. As the mounting pin is retained by the socket of the support arm, it does not shift laterally relative to the support arm as the support arm is vertically adjusted. The variance in the gap between laterally secured forming panels as a response to vertical shift of the support is dependent on the incline angle of the beam and the dimensions of the beam and the support arm. This is predictable within a defined tolerance.

A formliner, sheet, system, and methods of use and manufacture are provided in order to provide a product that can minimize and/or eliminate visible seaming between interconnected formliners during fabrication of a pattern on a curable material. In some embodiments, the formliner can comprise raised sections that define interrelated inner and outer dimensions. Thus, a plurality of formliners can be interconnected by overlaying raised sections thereof. Further, the formliner can comprise one or more detents and one or more protrusions to enable engagement between interconnected formliners without requiring adhesives. In this manner, formliners can be interconnected in a nested manner such that visible seaming between the interconnected formliners is reduced and/or eliminated.

The invention relates to a formwork element (20a) of a ceiling formwork (10). The formwork element (20a) has a non-fully circumferentially closed, in particular U-shaped, frame onto which a formwork skin can be or is arranged. The frame preferably has at least a first leg, a second leg and a base strut in between. The base strut is preferably oriented at a right angle 5 relative to the two legs. The legs are preferably each provided at their end regions opposite to the base strut with a fastening projection and/or a fastening recess. The formwork element (20a) can be suspended by a worker from below into a pillar head (16a) and is upwardly pivotable. It makes it possible to build around an obstacle (18) in a simple manner while maintaining a grid-like imprint structure in the concrete surface to be created with the ceiling formwork (10).
