Composite tilt-up panel

Composite precast concrete panels are described herein having have an anchor that distributes forces imposed on the anchor through concrete wythes of the panels. Specifically, pins can be embedded in at least one concrete wythe, and then the anchor is secured to the wythe as described herein. The anchor extends through another Wythe to selectively connect to a hoist system that moves and places the composite precast concrete panel. The forces imposed on the anchor are distributed through the pins and into multiple concrete wythes to prevent failure of the composite precast concrete panels and improve safety.

A method and system for forming a post-tensioned concrete slab using a post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may comprise a connector anchor including a bore that includes a first frustoconical portion, and the connector anchor may be adapted to bear on the post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may also comprise a coupler comprising a connector and a coupler body that includes a second frustoconical portion that is oriented oppositely to the first frustoconical portion. The connector may have a bore therethrough and may be configured to receive the coupler body and to engage the connector anchor. A pocket-forming cap may releasably engage the post-tensioning concrete anchor; the pocket-forming cap may include a frustoconical wall, a gripping head, and a connector-receiving portion. The method may include using the system to form a second concrete section adjacent to a first concrete section before stressing the first concrete section.

NON-CORRODING ERECTION LIFTING INSERTS FOR PRECAST INSULATED PANELS

An erection lifting insert for precast insulated panel having an insulating material layer between opposing wythes, the insulating material layer, wythes, and precast insulated panel having respective widths. The erection lifting insert includes an insert body. Opposing elongated engagement arms extend outward from the opposing sides of the insert body and downward past the bottom of the insert body. The opposing engagement arms are provided on each lateral side of the insert body between the midpoint and the side edges.

ANCHOR

An anchor for arrangement in a building element, in particular in a wall, in a ceiling or in a precast concrete part. The anchor includes an anchoring element for anchoring in a receiving opening of the building element comprising an undercut, a connecting element for connection to a supporting element, in particular to a platform for formwork, or to a support arm for a protective shield, or to a lifting element for lifting the building element. In some aspects, the anchoring element is movable between an anchoring position for anchoring in the receiving opening and a release position for removal from the building element. The anchor may additionally include a securing element which blocks the movement of the anchoring element between the anchoring position and the release position in a first position and releases the anchoring element in a second position.

A layered structure includes a first layer of cementitious material, an insulation layer positioned on the first layer. The insulating layer has an opening defining a receiving space. An anchor assembly is positioned in part in the receiving space. The anchor assembly includes a base plate having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, an anchor member connected to the first side of the base plate, and a thermally insulating panel attached to the second side of the base plate. The thermally insulating panel is positioned on the first layer of cementitious material. The insulating panel has a snug fit or interference fit with the opening through the insulation layer. The insulating panel and opening are matched with regard to shape such that the insulating panel covers a surface of the cementitious layer within the receiving space thus preventing a thermal bridge from forming.
