Structural cells, matrices and methods of assembly

Structural cells and matrices using the structural cells for positioning below a hardscape that define a void space therein, the structural cells, matrices using the cells and methods of assembly allowing in one embodiment the introduction of a structural fluid such as concrete to provide an alternative structural cell and matrix product. In one embodiment a structural cell assembly is described comprising a structural cell with a plurality of legs integrally linked to a frame at a first frame end, the frame linking the legs together and the frame defining a generally flat plane with the legs extending substantially orthogonally away from the first frame end about the frame flat plane to a leg terminal end; and a separate plate engaging the legs, the separate plate comprising linked sockets, each socket engaging the leg terminal end; and/or linked sockets, each socket engaging the leg frame ends or a part thereof.

Foundation Formwork

A light-weight formwork having a small change in dimensions due to an environmental temperature. A foundation formwork includes a metal frame having a rectangular frame shape, and a resin faceplate attached to the metal frame and closing an opening of the metal frame. The metal frame includes a top plate having fitting notches and L-shaped bridged bodies. The resin faceplate includes protruding bodies fitted with the fitting notches and L-shaped slits into which the bridged bodies are fittingly inserted. The protruding bodies fit with the fitting notches and the bridged bodies are fittingly inserted into the slits, thereby the resin faceplate is attached to the metal frame. The attached resin faceplate closes an opening of the metal frame. The fitting notches and the bridged bodies suppress an expansion and contraction of the resin faceplate in a left and right direction.

Retainers for restoring, repairing, reinforcing, protecting, insulating and/or cladding structures

A method for repairing a multi-sided structure protruding from a first surface. The method comprises mounting a retainer to the first surface, coupling a first brace connector component of a first brace to a first panel, coupling the first panel to a primary retainer connector component of the retainer, coupling a second brace connector component of the first brace to a secondary retainer connector component of the retainer, and introducing a curable material into the space between the first panel and the multi-sided structure, the first panel acting as at least a portion of a framework for containing the curable material until the curable material cures to provide a repair structure cladded, at least in part, by the first panel.

Brackets for securing vertical strongbacks to horizontal walers secured to a face of a concrete wall form. Each bracket has a flange adapted to be mounted to an upper surface of the waler, a standoff connected to the flange and extending perpendicular to and beyond the waler to a distal end for defining a strongback-receiving pocket between the waler and the distal end for receiving the strongback. A wedge is operatively coupled to the distal end for pinching the strongback between the wedge and the waler for securing the strongback to the waler.
