A high-capacity beam includes interoperable features conformant with the pretexting modular grid shoring system including conformant interface rails and conformant end caps that removably engage with the conformant interface rails. The truss portion of the high-capacity beam has the same width and a greater height compared to the truss portion of the low-capacity beam. The high-capacity beam may also include a conformant T-slot and beveled end faces on respective opposing sides of the high-capacity truss portion. A nominal 8-foot length of the modular high-capacity beam weighs less than about 50 lbs., while a nominal 6-foot length of the low-capacity beam weighs less than about 40 lbs. A grid shoring assembly utilizing the high-capacity main beams is rated for supporting a nominal 13-inch concrete platform, while a grid shoring assembly utilizing the low-capacity main beams is rated for supporting a nominal 6-inch concrete platform.

COMPOSITE DISC AXIAL DAMPENER FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES

A seismic axial dampener device is constructed of a multitude of composite or metallic conical compression discs and an exo-structure capable of dampening both tension and compression cycles of a building structure due to a seismic, explosion, or wind event. The dampener reacts and dampens the loading in both tension and compression along the axis of the cross brace in linear-elastic bending, creating internal hoop stress, and not through shear of the dampener device.

CART FOR TRANSPORTING AND POSITIONING TEMPORARY BRACES FOR USE DURING BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
20250382161 · 2025-12-18 · ·

A temporary brace cart features a frame, a plurality of wheels for moving the frame, a bracket for coupling the frame to a vehicle (e.g., boom lift or other machine), a hoist extending vertically from the frame, a hoist arm extending from the hoist, and a winch coupled to the end of the hoist arm. In some uses, a plurality of temporary braces are positioned longitudinally along the frame for transport. A boom lift or other machine tows the cart to the desired location. Once at position, a cable may extend from the winch to a temporary brace. The winch may then be actuated so as to raise one end of the temporary brace, where it may be held until secured to the wall and ground by a worker.
