SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTION TO ASSIST IN SUPPORTING SUSPENDED CONCRETE
20190330865 · 2019-10-31 ·

An apparatus for use in construction to assist in the support of suspended concrete during at least a curing phase of the concrete. The apparatus comprises a base member and a support member coupled to the base member and moveable relative to the base member between a first relative position (first position) and a second relative position (second position). A biasing mechanism is operatively coupled to the support member to bias the support member toward the second position. In use, the support member is positioned to engage and support the suspended concrete and move from the first position toward the second position as the concrete cures and contracts, to maintain substantially continuous support to the concrete during at least a substantial period of the curing phase. In the preferred embodiment the apparatus is configured for use with a support prop.

A counterbalanced vertical track assembly which may be configured with three types of pulley support assemblies are herein disclosed. The first type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules having an elongate structural element interposed the two pulley modules which are attached to end plates at both ends of the elongate structural element. The second type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules which include male end connectors for demountable engagement of the pulley modules with another module of the system with female ends. The third type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules wherein the modules' pulley brackets are repositionable to varying angular orientations by alternating screw mount positions selected on mount components at opposite ends of an elongate structural element.

Supporting device for the construction industry, arrangement consisting of at least two such supporting devices, incremental launching device comprising at least one such supporting device, and method for supporting a load element using such a supporting device
11988002 · 2024-05-21 · ·

A supporting device for the construction industry. Said device has a fixing element which rests against a side wall and is fixed at a fixing point of the side wall. Said device also has a cantilever which is connected to the fixing element and, when the fixing element is in the fixed state, projects from the side wall such that a load element can rest against a bearing point of a bearing element of the cantilever. The load element can now be displaced in a displacement direction substantially parallel to the side wall relative to the cantilever and, when the load element rests against the bearing element of the cantilever, the cantilever is coupled to the load element such that a displacement force component acts on the cantilever in the displacement direction when the load element is displaced, said displacement force component resulting in a torque on the cantilever.
