Described is a submersible floor or deck deployable in swimming pools and spas. The floor and seat panels are assembled and deployed in the basin or pool. The floor is mounted to a scaffolding and can be moved reversibly by a water pump or a hydraulic actuator between a lowered state substantially parallel to a floor of the pool and a raised state that is substantially flat and horizontal at a level substantially even with a top edge of the pool or spa. One version uses water flow from an existing or conventional water pump to circulate water that impinges on a paddlewheel that, in turn, drives one or more vertically mounted screws. A computer implemented method including receiving, by a monitoring system that is configured to monitor a property and from an electronic pool device that is configured to monitor a swimming pool at the property, sensor data, analyzing, by the monitoring system, the sensor data, based on analyzing the sensor data, generating, by the monitoring system, an instruction to activate a camera of the electronic pool device, providing, by the monitoring system to the electronic pool device, the instruction to activate the camera, receiving, by the monitoring system from the electronic pool device, image data, analyzing, by the monitoring system, the image data, based on analyzing the image data, identifying a monitoring system action to perform, and performing the monitoring system action.

A pool cleaning system for cleaning debris from a submerged surface of a swimming pool includes a self-propelled pool cleaner having rotatably-mounted supports for supporting and guiding the cleaner on the pool surface; an electric motor for enabling the rotation of the rotatably-mounted supports on the pool surface; at least one camera to capture imagery of the pool surface; a controller, in electronic communication with the at least one camera, to determine a cleanliness characteristic of the pool surface on which the cleaner has passed based on the camera imagery and generate a control signal to direct movement of the cleaner based on the cleanliness characteristic of the pool surface, and a portable electronic device configured to present a graphic on a display, the graphic depicting the submerged surface of the pool and those portions of the surface that remain uncleaned as the cleaner traverses the pool surface.
