The invention relates to a parking platform for a motor vehicle, in particular for a motorized parking apparatus for a motor vehicle. Profile parts are provided which are arranged next to each other along a longitudinal direction and preferably are connected to each other and form a parking space for the motor vehicle. The profile parts each comprise a base region and a projecting region projecting therefrom. In order to provide a generic parking platform with high stability and increased user friendliness for a vehicle operator, the profile parts each comprise a profile section which has at least one base region and at least one projecting region, as well as a covering section which is arranged next to the profile section and is connected thereto. The covering section of a profile part covers at least one projecting region of an adjacent profile part.

The creeper further comprises a bottom, a raisable circumferential wall having first end portion, a second end portion, a first side wall and a second side wall, said first and second side walls running along axes that are substantially parallel to the folding axis, and a plurality of rigid panel members. The plurality of rigid panel members are positioned at panel locations within or along each of the first and second side walls. The first end portion, the second end portion and the first and second side walls are moveable relative to the bottom and cooperate to form a circumferential raised barrier around the periphery when the creeper is in an unfolded configuration.

A computerized operation of a vehicle rental system is provided, wherein a number of vehicles is made available to a defined user group for a temporary use period. The vehicles are placed at one or more locations accessible only to the user group, with one or multiple parking spaces reserved for the vehicles in each case. Based on a user input which includes at least one item of data regarding a rental period start and a rental period end of a vehicle, as well as a user ID, a reservation of the vehicle is carried out in a computerized reservation system. A sensor device, which monitors the parking spaces, verifies the presence of the vehicle. The reservation system shows a vehicle, the same being detected by the sensor device as parked in one of the reserved parking spaces prior to the expiration of the rental period end and saved in the reservation system, as available for rental in the reservation system.
