POLE BASE CABINET
This disclosure relates to pole bases, specifically to light pole base cabinets that can house items. The pole base cabinets can be positioned between a light pole and a footing. The pole base cabinets provide a base to a light pole while adding additional functionality. The cabinets can include a main opening allowing access to a cavity in which items can be stored. Access to the cavity can be restricted with a door that uncovers and covers the main opening. The pole base cabinets can include support panels, internal stiffening panels, external stiffening panels, support tabs, flanges, tabs, a peripheral wall, and other features to provide structural support and enclose the contents in the pole base cabinet.
Pole with pivotable access cover
A pole for supporting at least one device thereon, the pole comprising: a post to support weight of the pole and to attach the at least one device thereto; and at least one cover at least partially covering at least one side of the post, the post and the at least one cover together defining at least part of a longitudinal channel in the pole to house the at least one device attached to the post; wherein an edge of the cover is in pivotable engagement with the post to allow access to the post in the longitudinal channel.
Pole Cover
A pole cover assembly and a method for mounting the assembly onto a pole. The assembly includes a pole cover that has a first portion with a first longitudinal end. A base portion extends from the first portion and the base portion has a base portion depth and an inside diameter that is greater than an outside diameter of the first portion to accommodate a first longitudinal end of an adjacent pole cover therein and define a circumferential clearance gap around the adjacent pole cover. A longitudinal slit runs a length of the pole cover and separates axially extending arc segments of the pole cover. The arc segments overlap one another when disposed on the pole.
Methods for reinforcing a stealth pole
A stealth pole includes a plurality of canister sections, each of the plurality of canister sections including a spine, a first splice plate located on a first end of the spine, a second splice plate located on a second end of the spine, and a canister cover that covers the spine, the first splice plate and the second splice plate. A method for reinforcing the stealth pole includes removing the canister cover from at least one of the plurality of canister sections; attaching a plurality of stiffener members to the first splice plate and the second splice plate; and applying tension, compression or a combination thereof to the plurality of stiffener members. The plurality of stiffener members reinforce the spine of the canister section. A reinforced stealth pole is also described.
Wind turbine
A wind turbine, in particular an offshore wind turbine includes at least one hollow structural element, at least one cable inlet arranged in a bottom region of the hollow structural element. A first platform is arranged inside the hollow structural element, above the bottom region. At least one flow opening is arranged in the shell surface of the hollow structural element and penetrating the shell surface. At least one active control element is flow-connected to the flow opening to affect a media exchange between the interior of the hollow structural element and the exterior of the hollow structural element.
CAMERA MOUNTING POST
A post for mounting a camera comprises a base, a tube mast, and a camera mount arranged to hold one or more cameras. A proximal end of the tube mast is connected to the base and a distal end of the tube mast is connected to the camera mount. The invention is characterised in that the base is arranged to comprise computing equipment, from which computing equipment wiring runs through the tube mast to the camera mount, and in that the base and computing equipment are encased by a cabinet configured to protect the computing equipment from exposure to weather. The invention also relates to a method for installing a post.
Tower of a wind turbine
Provided is a tower of a wind turbine, having a hollow inner space and a door for opening and closing an aperture into the inner space, wherein the door is a sliding door, which is slidingly arranged on a tower aperture member attached to the tower, and which sliding door is at least partially sealed by a seal to the tower aperture member at least when the door is in the closed position.
Public service cabinet with modular expansion facility for a street mast
A public service cabinet includes a foundation support, a connection frame, and housing parts that delimit internal spaces for receiving electrical and/or communication/control equipment. The foundation support includes a first street mast module of which an upper end is configured to be connectable to a lower end of a second street mast module of a modular street mast. The connection frame is releasably connected to the first street mast module, and the housing parts extend to a height that lies above a height to which the first street mast module extends such that at least an upper portion of the first street mast module is surrounded by the housing parts. A removable first-type cover is provided that is configured to shield of an upper side of the cabinet including the upper end of the first street mast module.
Monopole door hinges and assemblies
The present disclosure describes a monopole door hinge assembly. The assembly may comprise a monopole comprising a door, the monopole and door both having an interior surface, and a plurality of hinges. Each hinge may comprise a base member configured to be secured to the interior surface of the monopole; and a rib member having a supporting portion and a mounting portion, the supporting portion having an arcuate profile that corresponds to an arcuate profile of the interior surface of the door and the mounting portion is pivotably attached to the base member. The base member of each hinge is mounted to the interior surface of the monopole and the supporting portion of each hinge is mounted to the interior surface of the door, thereby securing the door to the monopole.
MODULE FOR A CELLULAR COMMUNICATIONS MONOPOLE
A module for a base station monopole has a wall defining an interior space. The wall includes an opening configured to receive electronic equipment and a vent opening in communication with the exterior of the module. A reinforcement member is secured to the wall and is positioned opposite to the opening and adjacent the vent opening. A baffle is supported adjacent the wall where the baffle has an intake opening and an exhaust opening in communication with the vent opening. The intake opening is laterally offset from the exhaust opening.
