ELONGATED STRUCTURE

The invention provides an elongated structure comprising a pole having a wall around a hollow core as a tubular body part extending along a length axis. A base section of the wall of the tubular body part is connected to an H-shaped frame extending from a foot of the pole along the length axis, said H-shaped frame being arranged in the core. The wall at the location of the H-shaped frame is provided with a door, said door in closed position being flush with the wall and in opened position providing access to the core.

Embodiments also contemplate an aperture in at least one region, or additional apertures for specific access to particular regions, and antennas in antenna regions for directional communication networking and additional antennas for connecting the poles, and thereby the directional wireless network of the poles, to wireless mobile devices, vehicles, et al. and additional antennas for connecting the components in the poles as well as mobile devices connecting to the poles, via the directional network, to external communication networks and wireless communication networks.

The first position is a service position in which the case is at least in part external to the cabinet, and the second position is a working position in which the case is within the cabinet in a rotated orientation relative to the first position. A method for installing computing equipment in a cabinet includes inserting computing equipment into the case that is in the first position and moving the case to the second position such that the case and computing equipment are in the rotated orientation within the cabinet.
