An assembly includes a first block including a first end; and a second block assembled with the first block at a same height as the first block, the second block including a second end facing the first end of the first block. The first block and the second block are connected to the assembly such that there is no structural connection between the second end of the second block facing the first end of the first block.

A fence post for an animal enclosure is disclosed. The fence post comprises; a first member, a second member, a collar; and a fastener. The first member and second member are substantially the same length. The second member has a cross-bore at a proximal end thereof, the collar defines an aperture, and the first member is fixedly attachable to the collar. The second member is configured to be partially received within the collar for alignment of the cross-bore and the aperture, and the second member is fixable relative to the collar by means of the fastener arranged to at least partially pass through said cross-bore and said aperture.

A column bracket assembly is provided. The column bracket assembly comprises a bottom base bracket and a top base bracket, each including a bracket body adapted to receive an end of support element (e.g. a wooden column) and a mounting bracket/plate pivotally coupled to the bracket body and adapted to be coupled to a structural element (e.g. a footing, pile, header, beam etc.). An emergency restoration system is disclosed. The emergency restoration system including a base and a tower pivotally connected to the base. The tower including at least one tower section and at least one insulated tower section pivotally connected to the at least one tower section, the insulated tower section including at least one insulator pivotally connected thereto.

Examples of a swing arrangement for a pole include a first part connectable to a first section of the pole, a second part connectable to a second section of the pole and a friction reducing housing arranged to rotatably house and couple the second part to the first part in a coupled condition so as to provide a rotational axis about which the first and second sections of the pole pivot. The present disclosure, in one or more embodiments, relates to a well servicing rig having a mast having a racking board, a base supporting the mast, and a stabilization system configured to secure the rig against wind loading. The stabilization system may include a pair of front outriggers, a pair of rear outriggers, a pair of racking board supports coupled to the rear outriggers, and a pair of internal guylines extending between the racking board and the racking board supports.

Hoists, platforms and davits are described as well as methods of securing same to telecommunication and other towers. The hoists, platforms and davits may be secured to the towers on a temporary basis using clamps. The clamps may include brackets and cables. The cables may be attached to the brackets, may wrap around the outer surface/perimeter of the tower pole/leg and may use tension to keep the bracket in place.

A mobile tower system includes a tower cassette sized to be accommodated in a bed of a pickup truck. The tower cassette includes a container, a tower vertically fixed to a back portion of the container, and a mounting member fixed to a top of the tower. The mounting member has a free end for mounting a piece of equipment thereto, and the mounting member is moveable between a stowed position and a use position. When in the stowed position, the free end of the mounting member is disposed inside of the container for securing the piece of equipment mounted thereto in the container when the tower is not in use. When in the use position, the free end of the mounting member is disposed outside of the container for operating the piece of equipment when the tower is in use.
