Wind turbine mast section, wind turbine mast and assembly method
A mast section (1) for a wind turbine having a longitudinal central axis (L) extending along a longitudinal direction includes at least two tubular mast elements (14) stacked along the longitudinal direction and arranged edge-to-edge at a joining plane (P). Each mast element (14) includes at least two wall segments (16), connected to one another by segment connectors (26) extending along longitudinal edges of the wall segments (16). The mast section (1) further includes element connectors (37) each extending astride the two mast elements (14), in the extension of the segment connectors (26) in the longitudinal direction. The mast section (1) further includes a plurality of element overconnectors (45), each element overconnector (45) extending astride a segment connector (26) and an adjacent element connector (37) in the longitudinal direction.
Foundation for a Structure
A foundation for a structure pre-stressed via a plurality of tensioning members includes a foundation slab and a suspension device cast into the foundation slab. The suspension device includes an anchor element, which may be an upper anchor plate, located at least as high as an upper side of the foundation slab, the anchor element for attachment to one of the tensioning members. The suspension device also includes a lower anchor plate located at least as low as within a lower third of the foundation slab. The structure may be a container, a tower or a wind turbine tower. The structure may include a stack of prefabricated concrete parts. The disclosure is also directed to the combined structure and foundation, and to a method of manufacturing a structure having a foundation.
Systems for installing an elongated stake to a support post to provide sturdiness to the support post, and methods of use thereof
A system for providing sturdiness to a support post, that includes a stake that is configured to be inserted into the ground such that it is positioned parallel to a support post that is perpendicular to the ground and an insertion-assistance member that is configured to be removably attached to the stake. The insertion-assistance member includes a body, and a lip that extends in a direction that is perpendicular to the body such that a portion of the lip extends beyond the body in the direction that is perpendicular to the body. The lip is configured to receive force and then transmit the force to the stake to drive the stake into the ground. After driving the stake into the ground, the insertion-assistance member is configured to be removed from the stake and the stake is then secured to the support post to provide sturdiness to the support post.
Bolt calibrated angle mainstay for tower construction and method for use
The present invention provides a system which allows users to mount multiple pieces of equipment to a tower and it has the unique capability to adjust a steel frame to level without additional equipment. In accordance with a first preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a duel locking system that includes a taper adjusting bolt to adjustably position the frame level with the earth. Further, the dual locking system of the present invention preferably further includes the use of retaining bolts to keep the assembly positioned correctly. According to a further aspect of the present invention, once the taper adjusting bolt is in its desired position, the retaining bolts are preferably tightened to lock the frame in place, with the taper adjusting bolt acting as a redundant measure to help maintain the level state.
Rotating a long vessel
A system for rotating a vessel may include a container assembly, a linear actuating mechanism, and a double-pivot link. An exemplary container assembly may include a head end frame that may be spaced apart from and interconnected with a tail end frame. An exemplary container assembly may hold the vessel or a portion of the vessel. An exemplary linear actuating mechanism may be coupled to a bottom edge of the tail end frame and may drive a translational movement of the bottom edge of the tail end frame along a first axis. An exemplary double-pivot link may be pivotally connected between a top edge of the head end frame and a fixed revolute joint. An exemplary double-pivot link may rotate the top edge about the fixed revolute joint responsive to the translational movement of the bottom edge of the tail end frame along the first axis.
Portable Telescopic Threaded Utility Pole
Disclosed is a telescopic utility pole where the individual segments are threaded on the outer and inner surfaces, the adjacent segments are threadedly engaged and extension/retraction of the pole segments is performed by twisting along threaded path. The advantage of using the threaded telescopic utility pole is that it can be deployed and erected quickly as compared to traditional utility poles.
Temporary support structure
The disclosed technology includes temporary support structures for use in the repair of a transmission tower. A typical transmission tower includes a tripod that receives the load of the tower and distributes it to piles embedded in the ground. A temporary support structure can temporarily remove the load of the transmission tower from the tripod to enable removal of the tripod and installation of a new tripod. A temporary support system can include a bearing platform system attachable to piles of the transmission tower, a bearing frame supported by the bearing platform system, a lifting system supported by the bearing frame, and a flower pot adapter configured to attach to a portion of the transmission tower, and the temporary support system can thereby be configured to remove the load of the transmission tower from the tripod of the transmission tower.
STAKE EXTRACTION DEVICE AND METHOD
Devices and methods for extracting objects from substrates are disclosed. One embodiment has a first end with a tapered handle and a second end with a dowel. The dowel can be a steel dowel and include a beveled edge enabling engagement with a hole in an object. Another embodiment can include an intermediate portion connected to and located between the first and second ends. The device can be manually inserted into a hole in a stake. Once engaged with the stake, a user can apply torque in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction several times to loosen the stake from the substrate. When loosened from the substrate, a user can apply a pulling force away from the substrate to remove the stake.
MACHINE FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF POLES INTO THE GROUND
A machine comprises one movement assembly for the movement of the machine on the ground, at the point where at least one embedding area is located; one beating assembly adapted to drive at least one pole at the point where at least the embedding area is located; one gripping assembly of said pole adapted to pick the pole from a lying location; and at least one positioning assembly of the pole, provided with a housing seat, intended to accommodate the pole and movable in rotation around an axis of rotation, between a home position, in which it is arranged substantially horizontally and receives the pole from the gripping assembly, and a working position, in which it is arranged substantially vertically and positions the pole at the point where the beating assembly is located.
