MONITORING AND CONTROL OF A MOVABLE TOWER IN AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM
20200396911 · 2020-12-24 ·

Aspects of the technology described herein provide a system for improved control and monitoring of a movable tower in an irrigation system. A computer controller associated with a tower of an irrigation system receives an indication of parameter modification. The system is then able to change parameters at a component of the tower control system based on the received parameters. The system stores the current drive value at a station to control drive. If the stored drive value is above a threshold level, a drive signal is provided to a motor. The system is operable to selectively apply a drive signal at a tower. The system provides the ability to digitally modify a threshold that is used in a machine run-mode to operate the motor at a tower.

The land-based drilling rig also includes a drill rig floor coupled to the first and second substructures, the drill rig floor including a V-door. The side of the drill rig floor has the V-door defining a V-door side of the drill rig floor, where the V-door side of the drill rig floor is parallel to the first substructure. The first and second substructures pivotably support the drill rig floor. The land-based drilling rig also includes a mast, the mast mechanically coupled to one or more of the first substructure, the second substructure, and the drill rig floor. The mast is pivotably coupled to one or more of the first substructure, the second substructure, and the drill rig floor by a mast pivot point. The mast includes a V-door side, the V-door side of the mast parallel to the first or second substructure. In addition, the land-based drilling rig includes a mast hydraulic lift cylinder coupled to the mast at a mast lift point and a choke manifold, the choke manifold positioned on the drill rig floor.

System for assembling/disassembling windmills

A system for assembling/disassembling a windmill in a supporting tower, comprising a intermediate fixing structure with hydraulic supports for attachment, by pressure, to the tower; a main structure capable of being attached to the tower at various working positions by absorbing the diametral differences of the latter; two pivoting arms hinged to the main structure and capable of being positioned by hydraulic actuators; a secondary structure for hoisting tower segments, equipped with four cranes of a minor size for handling the main structure and the pivoting arms during hoisting/descent, and a counterbalancing group adjustable in height by means of capstans. The main structure and the intermediate structure include a detachable side for their withdrawal and separation from the tower during disassembly.

Shipping arrangement and assembly procedure for drilling rig structures

A center drill floor assembly of a drilling rig structure includes a center floor structure and a drilling rig mast section that is at least partially nested within the center floor structure, wherein the center drill floor assembly is adapted to be transported to a drilling site as a single modular assembly and removably attached as a single modular assembly to a drilling rig substructure during assembly of the drilling rig structure.

A method is for generating a freeroom for a mast element in a ground. The method includes the steps: a) drilling a first annular recess into the ground, the first recess having: a first diameter; and a first depth; b) drilling a second annular recess in the ground, the second recess being arranged to receive the mast element, and the second recess: having a diameter which is smaller than the first diameter; having a second depth which is larger than the first depth; surrounding a first core of the ground; and being surrounded by the first recess; wherein there is, defined between the first recess and the second recess, a second core which can be removed to generate a freeroom.
