Method and system of affixing a plaque to a solid surface
A method and system of affixing a plaque to a solid surface is provided. The method includes the steps of providing at least one opening in a face of the solid surface and inserting a plaque support into the at least one opening. The plaque support includes a body defining a passageway therethrough and having a first end and a second end. The first end has a flange portion. Further, at least one outer tab member extends radially outward toward the first end and at least one inner tab member extends radially inward toward the second end. The outer tab member engages the solid surface upon insertion of the plaque support into the at least one opening. The method and system further include providing the plaque with at least one installation fastener. The at least one installation fastener is inserted into the passageway of the plaque support, such that the at least one inner tab member engages the at least one installation fastener.
Mounting device
A flag mounting device for engaging a gravesite vase. The flag mount device is generally diamond shaped with a central opening for engaging a top of the vase. When positioned atop the vase the flag mounting device is horizontally disposed with respect to the ground. A container securing component penetrates the flag mounting device horizontally extending from a corner inward into the central opening and engages the top of the vase to secure the flag mounting device to the vase. A pair of flagpole bores partially penetrate a top of the flag mounting device and are configures to receive a pair or miniature flagpoles. Each miniature flagpole is secured within the respective flagpole bore by a flagpole securing component that extends from a side corner inward into the flagpole bore.
DECORATIVE MEMORIAL FOR HOLDING CREMAINS
A memorial such as for displaying cremain remains, including a superstructure defining an open interior. A removable top piece is attached atop the superstructure for permitting access to a cremain holding enclosure supported within the interior. The removable top piece includes any of a lamp, globe, planter or birdbath. A solar lighting element is incorporated into the removable top piece. A window is configured within the superstructure for viewing the internally held cremain holding enclosure. The enclosure further incorporates each of a bottom cap, sleeve shaped body and top cap. The bottom cap defines a platform for the cremain enclosure secured within the interior in order to array the cremain enclosure level with the viewing window.
SUPPORT DEVICE FOR COFFIN AND FUNERARY MONUMENT AND ASSOCIATED COFFIN
A support device for a coffin and funerary monument as well as a suitable coffin, in particular for burial in the ground, having a receiving platform suitable for supporting the base of the coffin, first pillars rigidly connected to the platform, means for receiving partitions between the first pillars, lateral partitions with an upper surface that constitutes a support surface, and at least one slab suitable for being positioned on the support surface to create a wall for protecting the coffin.
Headstone Support
The invention herein relates to a headstone support. The headstone support has a base and a socket. The headstone socket is configured to receive the headstone in a tight fit so as to reduce movement and/or shifting of the headstone. The headstone socket can have at least four corners. The corners are connected by sidewalls. The sidewalls may be complete sidewalls or partial sidewalls. The base of the headstone support has flanges that extend outward from the sidewalls. The base is configured to disperse the weight of the headstone. The base may attach directly to or rest on a vault or may be placed on compacted ground. The headstone support may have openings configured for drainage. The openings may be positioned inside the socket. Alternatively, the openings may be positioned on the sidewalls.
MONUMENT CAP DEVICE COMPRISING A CIRCULAR LID AND AN ADHERING STRUCTURE
Various embodiments of a monument cap device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a monument cap comprises a circular lid with a first sidewall along its circumference; a second sidewall protruding from a bottom face of the circular lid, the second sidewall having an outer diameter that is smaller than an outer diameter of the first sidewall; a plurality of legs extending from the second sidewall for engaging with an opening; and a plurality of brace members each extending between one of the plurality of legs and the bottom face.
A VASE FOR A FLAT MARKER TYPE GRAVESTONE INCORPORATING ONE OR MORE VOTIVE LIGHTS
Disclosed is a flower vase for a flat marker type gravestone which acts as a votive light at the same time by virtue of the presence of a plurality of artificial light emitting panels of the LED type. The panels laterally cover the vase and are alternated with photovoltaic panels by which it is possible to store electricity in a battery accommodated inside the vase. The LED panels are electrically connected to the battery in order to power them. The intensity of the artificial light emitted by the LED panels is adjusted by a twilight sensor. The intensity can further be manually adjusted by a user of the vase by a special pressure switch.
Headstone marker foundation support with removable insert
A foundation support for stabilizing headstones, grave markers, monuments and the like, to prevent sinking or shifting of a grave marker. The foundation support is formed from a rigid base member having a grid of shaped apertures extending between an upper edge and a lower edge that is filled with earth material. An insert member is releasably secured to the base member, the insert member is replacable with a vase insert member to allow personalization of the memorial.
HEADSTONE ACCESSORY CLAMP
A monument clamp includes a two clamp frames adjustably coupled to each other with fasteners. The clamp frames each have a parallel pair of clamp arms that descend into a parallel pair of clamp legs perpendicular to the clamp arms, with a cross bar joining the clamp arms. The cross bars have an elevated notch adjacent to each of the arms. Each arm has a fastener slot aligned with the fastener slots of the other frame. The fasteners extend through the fastener slots. A method of attaching flowers to a monument includes assembling the monument clamp, attaching the clamp to the monument; adjusting the width of the clamp to the width of the monument; tightening nuts; and securing flowers to the clamp by feeding straps through the elevated notches and around the flowers. The clamp securely attaches the flowers to the monument and improves the appearance by being less visible.
