Memorial facility with memorabilia, meeting room, secure memorial database, and data needed for an interactive computer conversation with the deceased
The embodied invention is a multi-vault memorial facility with a memorial room and an interactive system for storing and providing memorial information of the deceased. The meeting room includes memorabilia and access to a secure personal biographical database which includes historical and personal information about the deceased. An interactive user interface for a visiting person is used when at the facility.
The personal biography database security is provided by administration control for access and identifies who can modify the database.
The interactive user interface utilizes visual and audio presentations, and a conversational user interface with a likeness and a digital memory of the deceased. A computer projection talks with a visitor and mimics responses of the deceased.
Illuminated niches for strong cinerary urns
The present invention relates to an illuminated niche for storing cinerary urns. The niche includes a bottom wall, a top wall, a right side wall, and a left side wall that together define a hollow rectangular body. The niche includes a rear wall made of a translucent material configured to seal the niche at a rear end and allow a light flux to enter the interior of the niche. The niche includes a perimeter frame provided at an opposing end of the rectangular body. The perimeter frame defines an access area and provides a support frame for a fastening system. The fastening system receives an access door that allows access to the interior of the niche. The access door is made of a transparent material to allow the access door to act as a screen through which it is possible to see the illuminated interior of the niche.
Columbarium
A columbarium for housing a plurality of cremation urns including a columbarium base and a plurality of vertical openings in the base interior, the vertical openings for the storage of cremation urns. The columbarium includes a plurality of slab members secured to the base side surfaces and a lid securable to the slab member upper portions. The columbarium includes a lock assembly for securing the lid to the columbarium base including a slide catch disposed on an interior portion of the lid and a latch assembly having a latch member. The latch assembly is secured to the columbarium base and is rotatingly engageable with the slide catch by rotation of a horizontal shaft having a free end with a male or female portion aligned with the side key opening. The lock assembly includes a key having a male or female portion for mating with the latch assembly shaft. The lid is removable by inserting the key in the key opening, engaging the key male or female portion with the latch assembly shaft male or female portion and rotating the key until a free end of the latch member disengages the slide catch.
SELF-SUPPORTING LOCULUS
A modern loculus made in one piece, i.e. devoid of joints or welding, of a plastic or polymeric material is described. The loculus is self-supporting and does not require an outer supporting rack. This result is achieved by implementing at least the vertical side walls with ribs or ribbing, or by implementing the vertical side walls corrugated. The loculus is stackable with the leaning base supported by the upper wall of the underlying loculus and the leaning base is inclined towards the bottom wall and defines a tank for collecting liquids. The upper wall is inclined towards the bottom wall with the same inclination as the leaning base.
MODULAR CRYPT AND MODULAR CRYPT SYSTEM WITH NICHE SIDE WALL
A modular crypt structure comprising a frame, a module insert defining a chamber and a closure panel and methods of constructing the same are disclosed. The chamber functions as a crypt module and receives bodily remains or portions thereof. The chamber is closed by attaching a closure panel, such as a stone crypt front to the frame. The modular crypt frame may comprise a plurality of horizontal bars and a plurality of vertical bars. A method of constructing a modular crypt structure comprises erecting a frame, providing at least one module insert, configuring the insert to define a chamber adapted to receive bodily remains, and closing the crypt module. A modular crypt system including a niche side wall is also disclosed having a niche side wall frame, a niche insert defining a plurality of niches positioned within the frame, and a closure panel positioned on the niche side wall frame.
Outdoor burial system for urns
A non-mechanical outdoor urn burial system that includes a one-piece rigid weather resistant tubular vault directly embedded within an outdoor ground surface with a length of the vault extending perpendicular to the outdoor ground surface, the vault having an open top, a closed end, and an elongated chamber having a dimension configured to support one set of urns completely below the ground surface in a stacked condition wherein access to the chamber is through the open top, a weather resistant cover disposed to close the open top and seal the chamber from environmental conditions, and at least two urns each having a top end and a bottom end and disposed top end-to-bottom end in a stacking yet independently displaceable condition in the chamber with each urn including a slot located proximal the top end to facilitate the independent transfer of the urn within and out from the vault.
FUNERARY STRUCTURE FOR CONTAINING FUNERARY OBJECTS
A funerary structure for containing funerary objects, which comprises a base framework provided with a plurality of profiled elements which are arranged along at least two directions and can be fixed to a supporting wall. The profiled elements delimit laterally at least one containment recess for funerary objects. There is at least one slab for closing the recess, which can be fixed, by virtue of fixing elements, to the base framework on the opposite side with respect to the supporting wall.
Columbarium
A columbarium includes a concrete base and defines an inner core surrounded by niches mounted around the periphery of the inner core. An inner wall separates the niches from an open volume in the inner core. A lightweight core includes at least three spaced apart steel posts attached to the inner wall and the base and supports a capstone covering the open core and the plurality of niches. Base trim elements are adjustably mounted to the base. The columbarium may be preassembled at a remote location and transported for installation at the selected site.
Funerary construction for containing funerary objects
A funerary construction for containing funerary objects, which comprises a supporting structure with at least one cavity defined for accommodating at least one funerary object; the accommodation cavity has at least one access opening which is closed by at least one closing plate fixed to the supporting structure; at least one covering slab is arranged facing the closing plate and there are elements of mounting the covering slab on the supporting structure; the mounting elements comprise at least one mounting element that is supported by the closing plate and which defines at least one region for resting the covering slab.
Mausoleum with sealed cylinder assemblies
A mausoleum is provided. The mausoleum includes a base configured to connect the mausoleum to a ground area. A first framework is supported by the base. The first framework is configured to support a plurality of cylinder assemblies. The first framework includes a plurality of corner posts, main posts, header members and bracing members. A second framework extends from the first framework and is configured to support a roof structure. The second framework includes a plurality of truss structures. A cupola extends from the second framework. The plurality of cylinder assemblies, corner posts, main posts, header members, bracing members and truss structures are formed from metallic materials configured to be resistant to weather and seismic activity.
