A rooftop tent frame and exterior assembly for a rooftop or truck bed of a vehicle comprises one or more frame assemblies; a moon roof supported by the one or more frame assemblies and positionable between a retracted position where the moon roof is adjacent to the rooftop of the vehicle, and a deployed camping position where at least part of the moon is elevated relative to the roof top of the vehicle, wherein the rooftop tent frame and exterior assembly is configured to contact the rooftop of the vehicle.

Transportable shelter

A transportable shelter includes a frame, an inner liner, and an outer liner. A plurality of interconnecting members of the frame are connected to create a fixed structural element, at least one end structural element, and a plurality of purlin portions. The purlin portions attach the fixed structural element to a first end structural element. The fixed structural element has a first inner track and a first outer track, and the first end structural element has a second inner track and a second outer track. The inner liner attaches to the first and second inner tracks, and the outer panel attaches to the first and second outer tracks. A dead-air space exists between the inner liner and the outer panel when the frame is assembled and the inner liner and the outer panel are connected to both the fixed structural element and the first end structural element.

A transportable shelter includes a frame, an inner liner, and an outer liner. In one example, a pod may be formed by a number of foldable or detachable panels, where a first panel includes at least four cavities at first locations having a first shape and a first cross section. A second panel may include at least four tabs at second locations corresponding to the first locations, and having a second shape and a second cross section that fits into and engages the at least four first cavities, such that the at least four tabs engage the at least four cavities to resist movement between different pods when arranged vertically. The pod may additionally include a third panel removably connecting the first panel and the second panel and forming an opening defining a cleaning port that is sealable, where the cleaning port is shaped to removably engage a cleaning device.
