A gazebo with a two-dimensional cover and a rod assembly, which is connected to the cover and holds the cover in a three-dimensional shape. The rod assembly is formed of a main rod assembly and a secondary rod assembly, wherein the main rod assembly has one or more resilient rods, which connect end portions of two opposing gussets of the cover. The secondary rod assembly has one or more resilient rods to connect in each case center regions of the edge between two adjacent gussets of the cover with each other. At least one tensioning element to increase at least the spacing between the ends of a rod of the rod assembly to hold the gazebo in its three-dimensional shape. The gazebo has no center rod which supports the gazebo from the ground and which in particular provides no variation in spacing.

A combined sleeping bag and tent assembly includes a sleeping bag that has a pad pouch that is integrated into the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag has a pair of tent fasteners each extending along opposite sides of the sleeping bag. A pillow is removably attachable to the sleeping bag for sleeping. A sleeping pad is insertable into the pad pouch in the sleeping bag and the sleeping pad can be laid upon when sleeping in the sleeping bag. The tent cloth further comprises a second connecting unit used to tension the tent cloth.

A portable shading assembly for provision of shade using a tethered panel includes a mast and a panel. The mast has a bottom configured to couple to a surface. The panel is flexible and has a respective opposing side reversibly couplable to a top of the mast. The mast is positioned substantially equally distant from opposing edges of the panel. A plurality of tethers is coupled to and extends from the panel. Each of a plurality of stakes is reversibly couplable to a respective tether distal from the panel. The panel is positioned to couple to the mast. The mast and the stakes are configured to couple to the surface. The tethers are positioned to couple the panel to the stakes. The panel is positioned above the surface to use the natural force of the wind to inflate the panel and hold it aloft to provide shade to a user.
