Animal-proof hooded barrier, related enclosure systems and method of maintaining an animal-proof domain
The present invention provides a substantially animal-proof barrier that includes (a) two or more supports laterally spaced apart to define a substantially vertical plane between each support, (b) fencing material that is attached to each of the supports and spans the plane between each support to form a simple barrier, wherein the simple barrier divides a domain into a first area and second area, (c) a hood having a first section originating from a top edge of the simple barrier that forms an angle of about 10 degrees to about 80 degrees with the simple barrier, and a second section extending from a lower end of the first section in a direction towards the simple barrier, and optionally (d) a hood corner assembly to provide a hood at a corner formed by the simple barrier, that includes an upper corner section, a lower corner section, and a pair of brackets.
SECURITY FENCE
A security fence includes a pair of posts and a plurality of rails supported by the pair of posts and disposed vertically spaced apart. Each rail includes a bottom wall and an upper wall, each defining a plurality of spaced apart openings. A plurality of pickets are horizontally spaced apart along the plurality of rails, each picket extends through a respective bottom opening and a respective upper opening of each rail. A slide lock bar is disposed within at least one of the plurality of rails and is supported by the bottom wall of the one of the plurality of rails. The slide lock bar traverses the plurality of pickets and is received by a notch in each picket. Engagement of the slide lock bar with the notches enables angular displacement of each picket with respect to each rail.
Nonconductive, Modular Barrier Assemblies and Related Methods
The present invention provides a modular, nonconductive barrier assembly for enclosing or partitioning an area. The modular, nonconductive barrier assembly includes a number of wall panels each having multiple nonconductive posts arranged in a common plane and separated by a gap. The nonconductive posts are connected by a number of connecting rods. Each wall panel is arranged in an upright orientation on a support surface. A number of support assemblies each having a base and at least one support arm support the wall panels in an upright orientation. The base of each support assembly is positioned on a support surface, a proximal end of the support arm is releasably connected to the base and a distal end of the support arm is releasably connected to a wall panel to support the same.
MOBILE HIGH SECURITY ANTI-SCALE PERIMETER FENCE
A perimeter fence comprises at least one substantially horizontal base portion and at least one corresponding barrier portion, which is removably secured to the respective base portion, comprising a pair of substantially vertical posts and a panel supported therebetween. The fence limits access to a designated area and can be used, for example, for crowd control at concerts and other outdoor events, protest/demonstration crowd management and facility/infrastructure perimeter protection. The fence utilizes a modular design and an improved fastening and storage system; and thus can be readily assembled for mobile use and disassembled for storage and transport. Metal expanded wire mesh or solid panels are provided to maximize security and limit access. The fence is provided in various dimensions to reduce scalability and thus further limit access. A plurality of adjacent panels can be employed to extend the fence as necessary about the designated area based on the particular application.
FENCE
Provided is a fence which can prevent a person from clambering over the fence while ensuring sufficient ventilation. The fence includes: a plurality of posts; a pair of plate members extending in a horizontal direction and spaced away from each other in a vertical direction; and a blocking member arranged in the space between the plate members for keeping a foot of a person from entering the space between the plate members to prevent the person from clambering over the fence, wherein a lower end of the blocking member is spaced upward from the plate member at a lower position, and defines a lower gap against an upper surface of the plate member at the lower position, the lower gap having such a dimension as to keep a tip of the foot of the person from entering the lower gap.
Animal Proof Hooded Enclosure Systems for Power Substations and Methods of Maintaining an Animal Proof Domain
The invention encompasses a substantially animal-proof barrier that includes (a) two supports that are laterally spaced apart to define a substantially vertical plane there between; (b) fencing material that is attached to each of the supports and spans the defined substantially vertical plane to form a simple barrier that has a top edge, a bottom edge, a front surface and a back surface, wherein the simple barrier divides a domain into a first area and a second area; and (c) a hood having an inner surface, the hood originating from the top edge of the simple barrier. An angle formed by the inner surface of the hood and the front surface of the simple barrier measures about 10 degrees to about 80 degrees, such that a channel having a substantially V-shaped cross section is formed.
Fence Components and Fences
A fence for controlling the movement of animals. The fence comprises an elongate portion which is above ground level and which, in one way or another, make it more difficult for an animal to climb up the fence and/or deter an animal from attempting to climb up the fence. For convenience, the elongate portion is denoted a BB band. Fence components comprising BB bands, and methods for preparing them, are described.
Anti-climbing device
An anti-climbing device on a fence (7) with angled arms (2) as protective devices having a planar element (1) fastened to the protective device. The planar element is connected to the protective device via force sensors (3). The force sensors are operatively connected to an evaluation unit (4). The force sensors are load cells which predominantly detect loading or load reduction in the direction of gravity. The planar element is fastened along the plane spanned by the arms and the planar element is connected via the force sensors to the arms.
Fence system
A fence panel and method of assembly. The fence panel includes end brackets that are affixed to panel facing sides of fence uprights. A top rail and a base rail span between the uprights. Panel and spacer members are secured between the top and base rails. The fence panel construction method includes constructing lengths of fence by first installing uprights in the ground, then affixing the base rail to the uprights. A magnetic strip spans between the uprights. Spacers and panels are supported by the base rail and by the magnetic strip. After placement of the spacers and panels, a top rail is positioned between the uprights and adjacent to upper ends of the spacers and panels, thereby securing the spacers and panels between the top rail and the base rail to form a fence panel.
