Fence Post Cap Assembly
A fence post cap assembly includes a cap that is positionable on a fence post of a chain link fence. A loop is coupled to and extends upwardly from the cap, and the loop includes a gate portion that is pivotally coupled to a fixed portion. The gate portion is positionable in an open position thereby facilitating a top rail of the chain link fence to be installed on the fixed portion. Conversely, the gate portion is positionable in a closed position thereby facilitating the gate portion and the fixed portion to encircle the top rail. In this way the loop facilitates the top rail to be attached to the fence post. A tab is coupled to and extends upwardly from the gate portion for gripped to urge the gate portion between the open position and the closed position.
Low voltage light fixtures having articulating components for establishing blinding glare zones at selected distances from the fence lines of security fences
A light fixture for a security lighting system includes an elongated pipe having a lower pipe section, an upper pipe section, and an articulating joint coupling a lower end of the upper pipe section with an upper end of the lower pipe section for enabling the upper and lower pipe sections to articulate relative to one another. A clamping element is coupled with the lower end of the lower pipe section. A glare shroud is secured to the upper end of the upper pipe section. One or more LEDs are secured to an underside of the glare shroud. Each LED has an optical lens that is configured to pass light from the underside of the glare shroud at a predetermined beam angle of 137-156 degrees.
Modular Privacy and Sound Barrier Fence System
A privacy and sound barrier fence system and apparatus is disclosed. The fence is erected with interlocking horizontal or vertical panels which are held in place by posts at the ends of the boards. The boards are equipped with a tongue and groove system, configured to enable the boards to interlock, forming a solid wall segment. Each segment, referred to as a module, may be connected at a 90 degree angle, to permit a turn in the fence. Adjustable mounting points on the posts allow for the modules to be disposed in a step orientation or at a slope for non-level terrain. The boards ensure that the erected fence remains aesthetically pleasing from both the front and rear of the fence. The fence system does not employ any structural rain reinforcement connecting the posts, and is capable of withstanding hurricane-strength winds.
FENCE POST CAP
A fence post cap for protecting a top portion of a wood fence post is provided. The fence post cap includes a square base member having a front side, rear side, a left side, and rear side. The base member is hollow. A top surface is positioned on the base member, wherein the top surface essentially consists of a single slope. A perpendicular plane extending from the front side to the top surface defining an angle. A number of holes provided on the base member enabling a number of fastening elements to pass through the number of holes such that the fence post cap is enabled to be secured to the wood fence post. The fence post cap may include an optional lighting system. The fence post may be constructed from a variety of materials and colors.
Safety device for guard rail
A safety device functions as a cap that is inserted over the exposed end of an I-shaped support post. The safety device comprises a generally L-shaped cap including a front pad that covers the flange of the support post, and a top pad that covers the exposed end of the support post when the safety device is installed onto the support post.
Post internal hanger assembly
A hanger assembly for hanging objects from a post is disclosed having a pole having an upper end section configured to support an object, and a lower end section configured to extend through a hollow shaft of the post. The hanger assembly comprises an upper stabilization device having a pole receiving aperture for coupling to the pole, and at least one post support member interfaceable to a top portion of the post to support the pole. The hanger assembly includes a lower stabilization device having a pole attachment portion for coupling to the lower end section of the pole. The lower stabilization device can have a vertical profile or outer planar surface adapted to interface an inner surface of the post to laterally stabilize the lower end section of the pole to restrict lateral movement of the lower stabilization device and the pole. Associated fence systems and methods for installing the hanger assembly are disclosed.
Two piece fence line post cap
A two piece fence line post cap is disclosed, including a cap having a top component releasably engaged with a bottom component. The top component having a U-shape to retain a top rail of a fence between a top surface of the bottom component and the U-shaped top component. The bottom component is a cylindrical shape having an open end to receive the top rail.
NUT CLIPS FOR ATTACHING OBJECTS TO A POLE
Described herein is a clip for connecting an access cover to a pole. The clip may comprise a plate, a lip, and a spring arm. The plate will comprise a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first edge, and a second edge opposite the first edge. The lip will extend from the first surface of the clip at the first edge, and may comprise a threaded hole. The spring arm will extend from the second surface at the second edge, and may comprise a proximal end, a mid-section, and a bowed distal end. The proximal end will be attached to the second surface at the second edge while the mid-section will be attached to and extend from the proximal end, and the bowed distal end will be attached to and extend from the mid-section. The clip may be manufactured of a material having an elastic modulus (E) in the range of between 150 to 300 GPa.
Fence system and method
A fence system may include stably coupleable posts, railings, and pickets. A post may include components configured to snap fit such as a post housing and post cover. A post cover may include a hole to snap fit to an end of a railing. A railing may include components configured to snap fit such as a railing housing and railing cover. Railing components may include holes positioned to correspond when the components are snap fit. The corresponding holes may be dimensioned to snap fit an end of a picket. Railings, pickets, or both may be pivoted when snap fit with a respective post or railing.
BULLET RESISTANT SECURITY FENCE
A bullet resistant security fence is formed by a plurality of horizontally oriented formed metal panels extending between I-beam support posts. Each panel can be an extrusion having a hollow void for insertion of optional insert modules to enhance the bullet resistant capability. The insert module can be formed as a sandwich with alternating layers of metal sheeting and furniture grade plywood, screwed together to create an integral module. Each panel extrusion includes a tongue and groove interlocking configuration to resist penetration of the fence between metal extrusions. Construction is accomplished by stacking the metal extrusions between spans of adjacent support posts and securing the metal extrusions with a cap, which can include a louvered topper for the fence. Crash protection can be obtained by running cables through the voids in the lowermost extrusions and holes drilled through the support posts, and anchoring the cables at opposing ends thereof.
