AN ELECTRIC STRAND GATE
20240268339 · 2024-08-15 ·

An electric strand gate has at least one electric strand thereacross. The gate comprises an actuator which moves the electric strand up along a hoisting rail from a closed position to an open position, thereby providing clearance thereunderneath for passage of livestock, vehicles and or the like through the gate. The gate may have shuttles travelling along the hoisting rail, each of which is connected to a respective electric strand. The rail and shuttles may be configured so that electric strands are closer together when in the open position, thereby maximising clearance thereunderneath whilst moving apart in the closed position, so as to maintain the full height of the electric fence. The shuttles and the rail may be further configured so that the electric strands are electrically disconnected in the open position.

Gate wheel

A two-part gate wheel is disclosed. The gate wheel includes two hub portions, each of which extends through over 180?, and which has a slot which passes from the periphery through to the centre. In use, each hub portion can be introduced from opposed sides of a gate, and coupled together to form a wheel. In this way the wheel can be retro-fitted onto a gate.

Aluminum fence system

The fence system attaches to an aluminum or steel rectangular base post in concrete or the ground. The inside wall of a fence column slides over the base post. The fence column also has an outside wall around the inside wall. Each of three side of the fence column has an elongated slot, which receives one end of a slat. A bracket may secure the slat to the fence column. The fence system also has a gate of the same style as the rest of the fence. A lockset housing replaces one fence column. It receives slats on one side, and the lockset's latch projects from the other side. A hollow post has a slot facing the latch when the gate is closed. A latch cover is held by the slot, and an extension of the latch cover extends along the lockset housing to block surreptitious opening the gate.

Fence Side Access Gate Latch

A side access gate latch that may be advantageously used on metal fences includes an elongate piece, a short piece, and a flange piece. In general, the short piece may be attached to proximal end of the elongate piece, and the flange piece may be attached to a distal end of the short piece. The elongate piece also defines an aperture for the placement of fixing screws that may be used to mount the gate latch to a gate post.

Apparatus, system and method for a portable corral panel

An apparatus, system and method for a portable corral panel. A portable livestock corral fence system includes a gate panel and fence panels, each fence panel including a bottom rail, a lock tab and a leg socket coupled to the bottom horizontal rail, and a foldable base including a peg mateable to the leg socket, a foot coupled to the peg, and a chain, the peg mateable to the leg socket in two distinct positions: a standing position, wherein the foot extends perpendicularly to the bottom rail in the standing position, and a stacking position, wherein the foot folds flat into the stacking position such that the foot is parallel to the bottom horizontal rail, and wherein the chain wraps around the bottom rail and engages the lock tab to lock the foldable base into either one of the two distinct positions.

TOOL-LESS RELEASE ANIMAL SAFETY BARRIERS

Apparatus and methods disclosed herein relate to modular safety barrier panels with individually releasable barrier members. The barrier panel may, for example, include horizontal rails. The rails may, for example, each include a respective array of spatially distributed apertures. An array of barrier members may, for example, each be disposed through a corresponding aperture in the upper rail and into a corresponding aperture in the lower rail. One or more of the barrier members may, for example, also pass through an aperture of at least one coupling member. A selectively operated closure member may, in a locked mode, prevent removal of the barrier member out of the apertures. Various embodiments may advantageously provide rapid and tool-less assembly of a modular fence panel for livestock and/or release of one or more members of the modular fence panel.

ANIMAL FENCE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME

A method of assembling a fence unit, where the method includes providing a side panel and a door frame of a fence assembly, where the side panel includes a plurality of vertical wires and a plurality of horizontal wires, and where the door frame including a side hook and side loop, sliding one of the plurality of vertical wires of the side into the side hook of the door frame, rotating the side panel with respect to the door frame such that the side loop of the door frame protrudes through a plane defined by the side panel, and inserting a door frame engagement pin through the side loop, where the door frame engagement pin includes an elongated portion and a fastening portion, and wherein, once inserted, the elongated portion engages at least one of the plurality of horizontal wires of the side panel to prevent the side panel from rotating with respect to the door frame.

Fall protection unit for forklift trucks servicing flatbed trailers

Each of a pair of barrier platforms is carried by a pair of carrier stanchions, one disposed to each opposite side of a loading bay in a warehouse environment for a flatbed trailer carrying pallets that must be loaded and unloaded by forklift trucks. Each pair of carrier stanchions also supports a motor that can be operated to raise and to lower, as desired, one of the pair of barrier platforms that in the lowered position provides fall protection for the forklift trucks that service the flatbed trailer. Each barrier platform includes a forklift rub rail and carriages that are configured to cooperate with the carrier stanchions to resiliently absorb impacts from collisions with the forklift.

MODULAR FENCE
20250109607 · 2025-04-03 ·

A fence system comprises a plurality of fence posts and a fence rail. The fence rail is characterized by a fence rail longitudinal axis and a fence rail cross-sectional profile in a plane orthogonal to the fence rail longitudinal axis. The fence rail cross-sectional profile has a hollow, obround shape. Each fence post has at least one rail opening having a substantially obround shape matching the obround shape of the cross-sectional profile of the fence rail, whereby a longitudinal end of the fence rail is slidingly insertable into the rail opening. The fence rail is mounted to and supported by a bracketing pair of the fence posts, wherein longitudinally opposing ends of the fence rail are positioned within corresponding rail openings of the bracketing pair of the fence posts.

Gate Upright

A single extrusion gate upright has a hole for a rail and one or more inner walls which can be coated with glue prior to the insertion of the rail. In a preferred embodiment, there are two inner walls, one of which is only a partial inner wall, which allows the user to coat the outside surface of the inner walls with glue, then insert the rail at an angle, to avoid screeding the glue toward the back of the gate upright, then rotate the rail onto the full inner wall, and slide the rail a short distance to lock it behind the partial inner wall. In another preferred embodiment, there is only one full inner wall, and the rail is inserted at an angle, then rotated against the inner wall. Glue beads at intersections between the rail and gate upright form an interlocking bracket for further support.
