A clamping element is coupled with the lower end of the lower pipe section. A glare shroud is secured to the upper end of the upper pipe section. One or more LEDs are secured to an underside of the glare shroud. Each LED has an optical lens that is configured to pass light from the underside of the glare shroud at a predetermined beam angle of 137-156 degrees.

A perimeter fence comprises at least one substantially horizontal base portion and at least one corresponding barrier portion, which is removably secured to the respective base portion, comprising a pair of substantially vertical posts and a panel supported therebetween. The fence limits access to a designated area and can be used, for example, for crowd control at concerts and other outdoor events, protest/demonstration crowd management and facility/infrastructure perimeter protection. The fence utilizes a modular design and an improved fastening and storage system; and thus can be readily assembled for mobile use and disassembled for storage and transport. Metal expanded wire mesh or solid panels are provided to maximize security and limit access. The fence is provided in various dimensions to reduce scalability and thus further limit access. A plurality of adjacent panels can be employed to extend the fence as necessary about the designated area based on the particular application.

Devices, systems, and methods for intrusion-detection for use with a fence comprising a gate-section have been developed and are herein described. The present disclosure relates to and describes a gate-connector system for an intrusion-detecting-fence system. A intrusion-detecting cable is run from a fence to a gate section. On each side of the gate section, the cable is terminated into a junction-box and connected to a shorter cable-plug assembly that terminates in a weatherproof, pull-apart connector. The cable-plug assemblies from each side of the gate section are connected together to complete a circuit. With the intrusion-detecting cable extending onto the gate, intrusion-protection is provided on the gate section as well as on the fence. A gate at the gate section can easily be opened by unplugging the connectors.

The light fixture has a glare shroud secured to the upper end of the rigid upper pipe section, the glare shroud having a reflective concave surface that forms an underside of the glare shroud that faces toward the junction box, and one or more LEDs secured to the reflective concave surface of the glare shroud, whereby each LED has an optical lens configured to pass light having a beam angle of 137-156 degrees.

An electric fence and its manufacturing method. The electric fence includes multiple warp cords and multiple weft cords raschel knitted together using a raschel knitting machine to form the electric fence having multiple rectangular holes. The warp cords include a top warp cord, a bottom warp cord, and multiple middle warp cords between the top and bottom warp cords. The middle warp cords include electrically charged middle warp cords and electrically uncharged middle warp cords, the charged middle warp cords being interlaced among the uncharged middle warp cords. The bottom warp cord and the uncharged middle warp cords are formed of synthetic fibers, and the top warp cord and the charged middle warp cords are formed of synthetic fibers and at least one metal wire in each cord. The manufacturing method increases productivity and reduces production cost, and the electric fence is suitable for low temperature environment.
