A lock device is provided with a housing, a rotary member, a pair of link rods provided with a hook part, a spring for the rotary biasing of the rotary member, and an operative member mounted so as to be able to be inserted into the housing. A cam protrusions formed in the rotary member, and a wall part having a cam slope which abuts the cam protrusion is formed in the operative member. The configuration is such that by inserting the operative member, the rotary member resists the biasing force of the spring and rotates, and the hook part of the link rods slides in a position in which it does not engage with the lock part.

Transmission mechanism and lock

A transmission mechanism applied to a lock and for controlling the lock to switch between an unlocked state and a locked state. The lock includes a first handle set including a first cover plate which includes a first fitting portion. The transmission mechanism includes a transmission element and a moving component. The transmission element is connected to the first handle set in a manner that the transmission element is incapable of moving along a rotating axis and has an abutting portion. The moving component is disposed on the transmission element in a manner that the moving component is capable of moving along the rotating axis and includes a first engaging groove, a second engaging groove and a second fitting portion. When the transmission element is operated to rotate, the abutting portion is capable of switching between the first engaging groove and the second engaging groove.

PUSH AND/OR PULL HANDLE LOCKSETS

Push button device for a motor vehicle, has: a mechanical and/or electric function controller with a first control state and a second control state; a push button element pressable from a disengaged state into a pressed state, wherein the function controller has the first control state when the push button element is in the disengaged state and the second control state when the push button element is in the pressed state, the push button element connected to the function controller by a first pivot arm mounted rotatably about a first axis of rotation and by a second pivot arm mounted rotatably about a different axis of rotation spaced apart from the first axis of rotation, wherein the first pivot arm and the second pivot arm are designed to be pivoted in an identical direction of rotation as a consequence of a movement of the push button element.

Adjustable button mechanism

A button assembly for a door lock may include a button and a shank. The button may be toollessly couplable to the shank to allow force transmission between the button and the shank. The button may transfer linear force and torque along a longitudinal axis of the button to the shank to allow a state of an associated lock body to be changed.

KEYED LOCKSET OPERABLE BY PIVOTING ACTUATOR ABOUT A FIRST AXIS OR A SECOND AXIS

A lockset (10) is actuable by pivoting a lever (14,16) about a longitudinal axis of the lockset (10) by rotating the lever (14,16) and by pivoting the lever (14,16) about an axis transverse to the lockset axis, such as by pushing or pulling. The lockset (10) includes an inside lever (14) and an outside lever (16), each associated with an independent mechanism, each of which can independently actuate the lockset (10).
