A method of refrigerator decorating that includes the steps of: placing a removable cover on at least one handle; and incorporating a decorative design in the removable cover. The removable cover preferably may include lighting or include glow in the dark features. The step of placing a removable cover on at least one handle includes placing a removable cover on a first handle and placing a removable cover on a second handle where the refrigerator includes two doors and two handles.

INPUT DEVICE FOR DOOR LOCK
20190368230 · 2019-12-05 · ·

The present invention relates to an input device for a door lock, and specifically to an input device for a door lock wherein an input unit capable of recognizing a touch input and a push input at the same time is installed on a door lock lever. To this end, the input device for a door lock according to the present invention comprises: an input unit for generating an input signal by recognizing a touch input and a push input at the same time; and a door lock control unit for setting the door lock to a power-saving mode if the input signal is not received from the input unit for at least a predetermined period of time, and cancelling the power-saving mode if touch input signals are sequentially received from the input unit while the power-saving mode is set.

Interchangeable customizable hardware for pull mechanisms

A pull assembly includes a base and a decorative insert which is rotatably mated to the base to allow for easy assembly and customization. The pully assembly can be formed by a process that includes the steps of: (a) forming a base by a first process; (b) receiving an image of a custom decorative insert that is intended to mate with the base to form the pull assembly; and (c) forming the custom decorative insert based on the received image and using an additive manufacturing process.

Motor Vehicle

A motor vehicle has a mounting device for a smartphone provided on a door panel. A housing of a receiving device of the mounting device is simultaneously used as the door handle, and the housing of the receiving device has operating elements for locking and unlocking a door lock and/or operating elements for locking and unlocking a door brake of a side door.

VEHICULAR EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY
20240125154 · 2024-04-18 ·

A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a base portion configured to mount at an exterior door handle region of a vehicular door, a handle portion, and a sensing device operable to sense presence of a person's fingers in a pocket region behind the lower portion of the handle. The handle portion is pivotable between a non-deployed orientation, where an outer surface of the handle portion is coplanar with an outer surface of the vehicular door at the exterior door handle region, and a deployed orientation, where the handle portion is pivoted inward into a door handle pocket within the vehicular door. With the handle in the deployed orientation and when a person's fingers are in the pocket region, the sensing device senses presence of the person's fingers at the pocket region and triggers an actuator of the vehicular exterior door handle assembly to unlatch the vehicular door.

INDICATOR LEVER
20190323264 · 2019-10-24 ·

An indicator assembly for a lock assembly in which rotation of an indicator barrel having different indicator symbols is facilitated via magnetic forces. Upon locking of the lock assembly, such as via a push button assembly, an actuator is linearly displaced in a first direction, causing an activation pin that is connected to the actuator to push an activation carrier in the first direction. The activation carrier can also be rotated so that a first pole of a first magnet that is coupled to the activation carrier is linearly and rotably brought into closer proximity to a similar first pole of a second magnet that is coupled to the indicator barrel. Such displacement of the first magnet can cause a repelling force to be provided between the first and second magnets that facilitates the rotation of the indicator barrel about the lever from a first position to a second position.

Top-loading mounting track for receiving a mount assembly
10429002 · 2019-10-01 · ·

A top-loading mounting track includes a top-loading track section with a base; two beams extending over a portion of the base; and two rails extending opposite each other from the base and connecting the base to the beams. The beams are laterally spaced apart from each other by a first distance. Each rail includes an inner rail wall defining a shoulder portion; an insertion-pocket portion; and an angled guide-surface portion. The insertion-pocket portions are laterally spaced apart from each other by a second distance that is larger than the first distance. The track section can receive a retention element of a mount assembly, where the retention element has a smallest lateral dimension greater than the first distance. The track section can receive the retention element by passing the retention element between the beams with the retention element angled toward one of the insertion-pocket portions.

Closure for a receptacle

A closure for a receptacle having two receptacle parts, the closure being arranged on a first receptacle part and having a first connecting element for detachably connecting to a complementary, second connecting element of the second receptacle part. A shaft for holding an information carrier is also provided.

Light Directing Element
