Locking apparatus

A locking apparatus for a pet cage is disclosed. The locking apparatus comprises a turntable rotatable about a central axis of rotation; at least one elongate metal lock bar, where elongate metal lock bar is configured to extend along a radial line originating from the axis of rotation of the turntable and a connecting member for operably connecting the elongate metal lock bar and the turntable. The connecting member comprises a forwardly extending portion for receiving a front section of the elongate metal lock bar and fixing a retained end of the elongate metal lock bar to the connecting member and a rearward extending portion which extends parallel with and is outwardly offset from the forwardly extending portion. The connecting member also includes a linear conversion mechanism arranged between the turntable and the rearward extending portion of the connecting member; the linear conversion mechanism configured to convert rotation of the turntable about the axis of rotation to linear movement of the connecting member in the same direction as a longitudinal direction of the elongate metal lock bar.

Latch for a computing system

Example implementations relate to a latch and a computing system including such latch. The latch may include a latch enclosure and a latch assembly housed at least partially within the latch enclosure. The latch assembly may include a lever mounted to the latch enclosure via a first pivot pin and having a handle section disposed outside the latch enclosure and a force transfer section integrated with the handle section and disposed inside the latch enclosure. Further, the latch may include a hook engaged with the lever and mounted at least partially within the latch enclosure via a second pivot pin, wherein a movement of the lever about the first pivot pin causes a movement of the hook about the second pivot pin via the force transfer section.

An advertising medium includes a frame enclosing a traffic signal control cabinet. The frame includes opposing rails for each side of the cabinet with opposing inside surfaces of the rails including grooves extending longitudinally along the rail and spaced from each other. A light panel is carried within one groove near, yet spaced from, surfaces of cabinet walls. An advertising panel is carried within a second groove. The advertising panel is spaced from the light panel and on an opposite side from the cabinet wall. A clear protective panel is carried within a third groove and opposite an outer surface of the advertising panel. Tie rods extend between lock devices which are secured to the rails such that removing the frame from its position around the cabinet is prevented. As a result, advertising material may be secured to a traffic signal control cabinet without intruding upon or modifying the cabinet.
